Longest cycle and warmish day of the year

Since it was forecast to be the warmish day of the year so far. I had to make the most of it, by doing the longest cycle of the year! I have a feeling the weather forecast was correct, my phone was showing it was 16C. Which is very good for the UK, late February time.

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph and route statistics.

  1. Yes. It was really nice on Thursday, shame I had to work, but hopefully, I will get a nice long ride in on Friday.

    1. I am sure you will get a good long cycle in Friday. So are doing very well this month. Still can’t believe you have done a 65 mile ride. The longest I have done so far, is the 44.28 I did today.

  2. Hehehe, yes, afraid I have done a 65.66 mile ride… 4164 calories, elevation gain of 1180m average speed of 11.2mph, max speed 28.4mph and a ride time of 06h04m21s

So far this month I have done 176.34 miles. I will be happy if I do 50 miles on Friday.

    1. Well, I managed my target. In fact I did 52.2 miles, 3273 calories, elevation gain of 670m, average speed of 11.8mph, max speed 32.2mph and a ride time of 04h24m56s.

  3. I’m such an innocent in these matters, you see! Seriously though….have you ever thought of doing a photography degree? I’ve seen a lot of your nature photos as well as your other images and they wouldn’t look out of place in a portfolio of work. Many of your photos are really striking as well as beautiful. 🙂

  4. Yes I’ve noticed that too, Steve. Some really good nature pictures. I don’t have a particular favourite pic, as there are so many good ones, but one that stands out is G with Loch Lomond stretching away in the background!
