Big opps! Since I’ve really been getting into collecting vinyl over the last 11 months.
I’ve made up my mind it’s time to get a better turntable, to replace my Audio-Technica AT-LP60 turntable. Which I’ve been most than happy with. But Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USBHC Direct-Drive Professional Stereo Turntable, which I’ve just ordered will sound even better!
My first turntable cost £109. This one has set me back £229! If the reviews are anything to do by, it will be money well spent!
All going well I should get it tomorrow, since I pay extra to get Saturday delivery. No way, do I want to have to wait till Monday or Tuesday to get it!
Great stuff Gordon…….unpack it carefully……..read the instructions……….and make sure you set the Balance…..and the Tracking force for the Pickup Arm carefully. You should get great results….but setting up the Arm properly is very important 🙂
Yes it’s going to be a lot harder to set-up then my last record player. Which all about, I had to do was remove it from the box. Put the turntable platter on, put the belt on, put the dust cover on. Then turn it on!
Don’t you need a room about the size of The Royal Albert Hall to get the best out of something like this
When we next meet, I might bring along some of my records for you to play. Just keep the volume low. 😉
