Havn’ been on tyhe Bluebelle since it was extended, but did add the Ecclesbourne vally to my list last Sunday. We had an outline of the history from the young guard on the train, which made it interesting. The scenery seemed quite urban in places and I suspect it might still be part of the national network if it hadn’t closed in 1947
It is indeed a fantastic railway, one of the best. Shame I just missed you on the day, would have been nice to say hello again!
