At long, long last that’s me now done 3,000 miles of cycling so far this year! Also done my third half century cycle of the month and the fourth of the year!
Had another great week on the bike, ended up doing my second 200 mile week of this year so far! Also done another two, 50+ mile cycles! Had a mate up doing photos! Plus starting to think, what I will be doing for my 41 birthday! Goal is 82 mile cycle!
That was another great month for cycling! I did just over 600 miles of cycling in August, making it the most I’ve done in a single month for a long time! Went to Skegness on a HST with Mark! Also had another mate up called Matt up for doing photos and just a good catch up!
Well pleased with myself, done 200 miles of cycling this week! But still a long way off my record, that I set back in 2009, when I did 452.2 miles in single week. That was of course, while doing the End to End cycle.
Happy days, that’s me now done 2,000 miles of cycling so far in 2020!
Speaking about getting my main bike fixed! Only been off the road, for over a year! Plus other stuff, just best to watch!
Today Mark T and myself went to Elton and Orston railway station, which is the least used station in Nottinghamshire. To watch the one of the Summer Saturday HST specials to Skegness.
WOW! Where has the time gone? Three years ago today, Nick and myself climbed Ben Nevis, which is of course, the highest mountain in the British Isles! Standing at 1,345 metres above sea level. Still can’t believe that we both did it!!

First some bad news… Getting made redundant, after working at same place for 16 years! In better news, really getting them cycling and walking miles in! Also speak about walk 1000 miles.
