March 2011 cycling statistics

Here are my cycling statistics for March. I now this month is still not fully over, I was really hoping to get out on the bike again one last time this month. It’s just so windy, it’s not going to happen. The wind speed is up 30 mph. I don’t really feel like getting blowing off my bike. It’s really pissed me off, since I really wanted to do another 34 miles, then I would have done 700 miles this month.

Here is the data from March 2011:-

  • Total cycles: 29
  • Total Distance: 666 miles
  • Total Time: 50:07:28 (h:m:s)
  • Avg Speed: 12.9 mph
  • Max Time: 4:30:57 (h:m:s)
  • Max Speed: 33.9 mph
  • Avg Distance: 23.11 miles
  • Max Distance: 60.10 miles

Data from: Garmin Connect.

Got my bike back at long, last! The service/rebuild come to a total of £277.69. A lot more than I was planning, but at least I have him back now. So that’s the main thing.

Can’t wait till tomorrow to take him, out for a spin. Was hoping go out a cycle today, which it’s been so cold. Not gone above -6C all day.

So really hope that Terry Wright Cycles have done a good done in fixing him. Since I’ve only got 17.9 miles, till I hit the 4,000 mile mark.

Only got two more days, till I go to Scotland. Would be well pissed off, if I missed 4,000 by just 17.9 miles.

Thursday – 11th November 2010

Opps not done a update in a good while. Not really done much at all today, did get some good news about job at the Peterborough Greyhound Stadium, which means a bit more money 🙂 Which I am going to put towards doing End to End cycle, which I am hoping to do again, August next year. The other main news of the day is that I watched a new DVD called Tan Lines, that turned up from amazon.co.uk. It was a good film, still not really too sure what to make of it, so need to watch it again.

Tuesday – 20th July 2010

Today Hobbz and Tyler and myself went to Hunstanton. It’s the most fun, I have had in a long time, not just because I got them both in wetsuits, but of course that did help. They are just two very nice lads, they are so easy to get on with.

Since the weather has been so great the last number of weeks, I have been out cycling just about every day. So far this month I have been 16 cycles, covering a distance of 365 miles. Total time 24:38:06 (h:m:s). Elevation Gain: 4,887 metres. Average speed: 14.8 mph. Maximum speed: 37.2 mph. So really hope that the weather stays like this good a while longer.

Wearing my Team Discovery cycling gear

It was so nice today, it was the first time this year, I have been out cycling in my sexy lycra shorts. I did the Bassingthorpe loop, which covers a distance of just over 24 miles.

Once back from the cycle, I had a much needed shower. Then got ready for my second night as bar supervisor, lucky tonight was not as busy as last night.

Then after work I went out for some drinks with Andy, since it’s his late night at the track for a good while, since he’s got a new job somewhere else.

Went to London for the very first TIME!

I went to London, for the first time in my life. And I got to do it all with my David. Let’s start at the beginning. Darren give us a lift from Nottingham to Peterborough. So we could get the 9:45am GNER train from Peterborough to London’s King Cross. The train was a whole 5 mins late.

Once David and me got there we had to wait for a long time for Carolyne because her train from Liverpool Lime Street was very late.

Then we went a walk all around London. We went to Hyde Park, Buckingham Gardens and so many other places, I can’t remember.

I got the train from back from London at about 7:00pm. David and Carolyne stayed because they were going to G-A-Y to see Gareth Gates. I would have loved to go, but I could have not coped with having to stay up all night. I am getting to old for that type of thing.

Thursday – 14th November 2002

God what a long day, it has been I got up at 7:00am. Then helped Mark put computer’s in his car that he needs for doing a training course. Then he give me a lift to Stamford railway station. So that I could get the 7:50am train to Liverpool Lime Street station, to spent a long weekend with my boyfriend David.

The train journey went not too bad, for once. I did not have to change at Birmingham New Street railway station, which made a nice change. The train was still late getting into Liverpool, but only by about 25 minutes.

When I got there my boyfriend David was waiting, it was great to see him again. I now know that this is going to be fun weekend.

In the evening I had some fun taken photos of David wearing some sexy very gear. He liked wearing my England Away top, don’t think that he really liked wearing my Lycra running suit. No idea why, because he looked so hot in it.
