Have you been watching ‘The Dark’ on ITV1? It’s partly filmed around Killearn because there was a good view of Dumgoyne from ‘your’ side (which is very different from the view from our old flat in Blanefield). The home of one of the suspects was Carbeth House, on the Cuilt Brae road from Blanefield to the Stockiemuir Road (A809).
