Since we started walking the Grand Union Canal, we have made it from London up to Leighton Buzzard. So far it’s taken us 6 days… That’s been broken up into the following…

So far during the #walk1000miles 2018 challenge, I’ve done a walk in the following counties and Crown dependences of the UK.

  • 34 – Leicestershire
  • 35 – Rutland
  • 36 – Norfolk
  • 39 – Derbyshire
  • 40 – Nottinghamshire
  • 41 – Lincolnshire
  • 44 – South Yorkshire
  • 45 – Lancashire
  • 47 – East Riding
  • 48 – North Yorkshire
  • 50 – Cumbria
  • 70 – Dumfries
  • 79 – Glasgow
  • 82 – Argyll & Bute
  • 84 – Stirling & Falkirk
  • 96 – Inverness

Only done 18 out of 100 so far! At least I am getting, closer to my goal of at least 30 of them!

That’s me now back in the UK! Got back into Glasgow late last night! Had so much fun in Cyprus, but still glad to be back home! Well just about home, still got to drive back to England on Thursday at some point.

Since, I am not back at work, till Friday. I am going to make, the most of my time here in Scotland. By doing lot’s and lot’s of walking!

So today, Neil and myself walked from Killearn down, onto the West Highland Way, had a look at the Pots of Gartness, then walked back up to Killearn.

So well pleased with myself, knowing that, I’ve done the Rutland Round long distance path. Which covered a distance of 69.77 miles!!

That’s us just done the fifth and final day of the Rutland Round. This stage took us from Thistleton and back to our starting point in Oakham. Which covered a distance of 13.29 miles.

Got to say, it feels great saying, that I’ve just done my first ever long distance path from start to end! The total distance was 69.77 miles!

That’s me walked just over 250 miles so far this year! Well pleased with that! May not sound a lot, but I’ve only done 298.3 miles on the bike!
