At long last, I got a good photo of the Class 91 (#91119) in the ‘Swallow’ livery! Really going to miss these locomotives, when they all come off the ECML by the middle of next year.

I grew up riding the trains of Europe. I was an Army Brat (US). I miss trains. Amtrak does the best they can, but one train a day is not guaranteed, and not really for a commute. I think I’ve just talked myself into a train trip, regardless of the odd hours and limited choice (North or South, not East, unless I change in Portland or Seattle, and the connections are often far apart on the clock).
