I am off to Cyprus on Wednesday :)

I am sure that most of you, will know by now. That I am off to Cyprus this Wednesday! I really can’t wait to go! Been looking forward to it, so much since it was booked, back in December 2012!

I am flying out from London Stansted with my Mum and Dad, Wednesday morning at 8:15am! So means, I will get, next to no sleep Tuesday night, if any at all. Since I will have to be up at 3:30am. Ready for my folks picking me up at 4:00am.

It’s going to be a long day to say the least! Not that I care at all! Last year, when I went. I did not want to come home. Since at the time, I was sure I would never go again! Not knowing at the time. I would be going again! Staying in the same place, as last time! Just for longer this time :).

I will try my best to get lots of photos. And of course, post them all when I get back!!

Maybe the last white lycra cycle of 2013!

This maybe the last time, I go out cycling in my sexy Pearl Izumi Team Garmin-Chipotle team kit this year. Mainly since I am going on holiday on Wednesday and I am not back till the 6th October. By which point the weather, will have not doubt started to get much colder and wetter :(.

I really do hate job hunting!

Why, oh why is job hunting just so boring??? Don’t get my wrong I love my current job. Just I really need a job with more hours. Can’t really live on just doing 15 hours a week. Yes, you heard me right just 15 hours! Even if I could get my hours up to 25 hours a week. I would be more than happy. But I already do the maximum number of hours I can at my current job. Since they are only open 3 nights a week.

As much, as I love my current job.  Which is a bar supervisor at the Peterborough Greyhound Stadium. I have been working at the dog track for just over 10 years. I only started working there, while I tried to sort my life out. 10 years later. I am still there.

So it’s about time, I move on and try to set myself some new goals in life…

This time next year. I want to have another job, even if it’s another one on top of my current job.

Oh and I have been looking at www.syha.org.uk/about-us/job-vacancies.aspx a lot for jobs! So yes, I may even move back to Scotland!!

YouView adds programme search to iOS app

YouView has added new search function to its iOS companion app. Which works with the iPhones from 3GS and up, iPod touch from third generation and the iPad.

You can search for shows in the TV Guide and Now & Next menus and the app will save your most recent searches to make finding your favourites channels and shows even easier.

The updated YouView iOS app will let you search for both channels and TV shows, so you can search for say ‘Dave’ or ‘Holby City’ and the app will do the rest.

It will also show other programmes in a series and HD versions of shows will be presented where available.

Right now only the YouView iOS app has been updated. YouView say the Android version is coming soon. But have so far not given a time, to when this will happen.

Download YouView for iOS from iTunes here.
