28-Jan-2013 : First wetsuited cycle of 2013!

Well pleased with myself. At first I was not going to do any cycling at all today, due to strong winds. When I checked the wind speed before setting up is was showing wind speeds of 60 mph. But since my miles so far this month has been very, very low. Due to having about 2 week of no cycling due to snow and ice. I made up my mind, to hell if it and went out! I ended up doing the longish cycle of the year so far. I did 28.94 miles, but my avg speed was a bit on the slow side, to the very strong head winds.

It also happens to be my first wetsuited cycle of the year!! The wind was so cold, I so glad I had it on!

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph, route statistics and photos.

First wetsuit cycle since May 2012

Since it had been pissing it down all day, I made up my mind to make the most of it. So I put on my blueseventy axium wetsuit and went out a cycle. Below are some photos I took during the cycle :).

Yet another wetsuit cycle. Got to love the British weather

Yet another wetsuit cycle. Hope you are not getting bored of all these wetsuit photos. Maybe when the weather is better, I need to do a cycle wearing my Spider-Man suit :).

It could have been a cold and wet cycle…

It could have been a cold and wet cycle. If it was not for the fact I went out cycling wearing a wetsuit. The first 5 or so miles, it was dry and sunny. Then it started to piss it down. Since I was wearing a wetsuit, I was nice and warm.

Thunder and Lightning = wetsuit cycling

It was Thunder and Lightning on and off most of the day. Which to most people would mean a day indoors. But to me, that means putting a wetsuit on and getting out on the bike and getting extra wet :).

Here some photos from the cycle. I did hope to get more. But I did not want the camera getting any more wet than it already had.
