WOW we did Ben Nevis!!

Job done, we both climbed Ben Nevis, which is the which is the highest mountain in the British Isles!! Standing at 1,345 metres above sea level!!! We could not have had a better day for it!! Could see for miles and miles at the top!

I would say that doing Ben Nevis, is right up there with doing the End to End cycle!

And just to show that we really did it! The route we took can be seen at www.strava.com/activities/1088565730

Now 48,000.3 miles of cycling, since 2003!

That’s me now done 48,000.3 miles of cycling, since April 2003! Which is a hell of a long way! Should get that to over 50,000 miles before the end of the year!!

I will leave you, with some of my favourite cycling photos!

Falkirk Wheel, Blackness Castle and Forth Bridge

Neil joined us again for the last full day of Nick’s and myself mini tour of Scotland! Today we went to the Falkirk Wheel, Blackness Castle, Forth (Rail) Bridge and also walked half way over the Forth Road Bridge.

You would not believe that all these photos have been taken on the same day! When walking on the Forth Road Bridge, it was that wet, even my underwear was wet right thought!

Nick and myself climbed Ben Vorlich (Loch Lomond)

Well the first tour of our Scotland tour, could not have got off to a better start! Today Nick and myself climbed Ben Vorlich (Loch Lomond)! Making it the first ever Munro that Nick has climbed! My second one, the first being Ben Lomond, which I’ve done twice!

We could not have picked a better day for it! The weather was sunny and for most of the climb, nice and warm! Till we got to the very top of Ben Vorlich that is! When it was windy, which made it a bit on the cold side!

Ben Vorlich is 943 metres, making it the 229 highest Munro in Scotland out of 282! So maybe not the tallest! But it was still a great climb! And some great views from the top!

I will now leave you with some photos…

We made it to Scotland!

That’s Nick and myself now in Scotland! After just under 320 miles of driving! It’s the first Nick’s ever in Scotland! I just know he’s going to have a great time! So many great places, I want to show him! Just hope the weather plays nice!

I will now leave you with some photos! The first of many, I am sure!! 😀

Back in October 2009 we got Bear!

Can’t believe that it was way back in 2009, we picked up bear from Wood Green. We was a great part of my life between 14th October 2009 and 19th June 2013. Before we went off to heaven to join, Jimmy and Pebbles.
