Elton John at Glastonbury 2023. Series 2023. Clara Amfo, Lauren Laverne, Jack Saunders and Jo Whiley present the historic final performance of this year’s festival, as Elton John makes his Glastonbury debut with a set that also marks the last show of his final UK tour. With a career of hits spanning over five decades, it’s guaranteed to be a spectacular and emotional swan song to one of the world’s greatest showmen.

The school launches their new radio station and Danny uses it as a chance to try to make amends. Myles’s actions catch up with him and he is alienated by his peers. Nicky butts heads with Kai while she battles with guilt and Preston is forced to face his demons.

Jay Blades’ Story of the East End (Channel 5/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Tuesday 20th June 2023)

Jay concludes his exploration of the history of London’s East End, this time focusing on the 20th century and life in the East End during the Second World War. He meets with local historian Kate Thompson, who paints a picture of how areas such as Bethnal Green coped during the blitz, before 93-year-old Babs Clark tells him the story of how 173 people were crushed to death in what was one of the worst civilian tragedies of the war. Later, he meets former Krays firm member Chris Lambrianou at the notorious Blind Beggar pub to get an insider’s take on the infamous Kray twins, before making his way to Canary Wharf to see how parts of London have been completely transformed over the decades.
