Dales Way : Day 2 : Burnsall to Kettlewell

That’s Bugsy, Mark G and myself done day 2 of the Dales Way, which took us 10.04 miles from Burnsall to Kettlewell.

Like yesterday, the weather was great, maybe a bit more windy. But still dry and sunny.

The highlight was walking around Grassington, which is also used has the fictional town of Darrowby in the 2020 Channel 5 series of All Creatures Great and Small.

Here are some photos from day 2. Plus our route can be found at www.strava.com/activities/8913976449

Dales Way : Day 1 : Ilkley to Burnsall

Well that’s Bugsy, Mark G and myself done day 1 of the Dales Way, which took us 13.17 miles from the starting point in Ilkley to Burnsall.

We could not have had a better first day! Weather could not have been better! The ground was mainly dry, so we did not get that muddy. Plus was just the right temp for Bugsy.

During the first day we only stopped twice for drink and cake. Both stops within 1 mile of each other in the grounds of Bolton Priory.

Highlights of day 1, other than the great weather. Was seeing Bolton Priory, seeing The Strid, and of course making lots of new memories with Bugsy.

Right here are some photos from day 1. Plus our route can be found at www.strava.com/activities/8908272865

When I got back from the cycle, I did not want to take the Lycra off! Since, OMG tight Lycra feels so good! 😈 I’ve never worked out, how pro cyclists are not turned on the whole time! I would be, seeing all them other sexy lads in Lycra! I would need him locking up or something… LOL!
