I cycle, in just about all weather!

Lots of people, think that I only cycle when the sun is out to play! Bu these photos, show that really is not the case! Most times, when it’s raining, I just don’t stop to take photos! Was so glad, I was also wearing a wetsuit under my cycling gear!

First cycle of March 2016… DONE!

That’s the first cycle of March 2016, done! I did 21.1 miles, meaning I’ve only got 204 more miles left to do, then I will have done more miles than in March of last year! Which should be very easy to do!

I will now leave you will some photos from the cycle! This time I am wearing the blueseventy axium wetsuit, since I am sure lots of you, are getting bored of seeing the Zone3 Evolution Swim-Run wetsuit all the time!

February 2016 cycling statistics

Best number of miles in a month in over a year! This month I did 366.7 miles which means, I’ve done the most miles in a single month since June last year (2015). Even then I only did 366.3 miles. So I am just over that total and no more!

Also by this point last year, I had only done 209.5 miles. Right now I am at 551 miles! So looking like this, should be a good year cycling wise! And make up for last year, somewhat!

Oh and please do also follow my cycling adventures at www.strava.com/athletes/gsvalentine.

Longest pre-work cycle of 2016…

That was a good cycle. Just did the longest pre-work cycle of the year so far! I did 21 miles, but that may sound good. But when I start cycling to work again, that would not even get me to whole way!

Also very happy with myself, first time this year, I’ve done over 100 miles in a week! Also done 328.65 miles so far this year! But this point last year, I had only done 209.5 miles!

I will now leave you with some photos from the cycle! 🙂

Another great cycle! 26 miles.

Yet another cycle! I did just over 26 miles! Which takes monthly total to 238.5 miles. So 109.3 more miles, than I did in February last year! By this last year, I had only done 209.5 miles in total. Right now I am at 422.7 miles. Hoping to get that up to around 500 miles before the month is out!

Here are some photos from the cycle! Yes of course, I am wearing a wetsuit under my gear again! Which can you tell from the second photo! 🙂

Just back in from the shortest cycle of the year!

I am just back in from the shortest cycle of the year! Which is, of course nothing to be happy about! I still did 11.04 miles, so still than nothing at all. Also some of it was off road! So got covered it mud! Of course, my wetsuit, was kept clean under the rest of my cycling gear.

Here are some photos from the mini cycle!

Yes another cycle! Great getting back into it!

Yes yet another cycle! But I am loving the fact, I am getting back into it! So far this year, I’ve done 274.5 miles. Which may not sound a lot, but that is 65 miles more than by the same time last year. That’s not including the fact, we’re not even half way into February! 🙂

Here are some photos from the cycle! Yes, I even did some off roading! The things I do, to find more geocaches!

Another good cycle, but very windy!

Yes, yet another cycle! I only did 18.56 miles this afternoon. I would have loved to have done more. But it was very windy indeed! Which is why my avg speed was only 10.3 mph and my max speed only got up to 26.3 mph.

But at least it did not stop me from doing a some more Geocaching. I found another two, which takes my total up to 180 finds!

I also took some more photos. The last one is my favourite, since you can see a train going past on the ECML.
