Wetsuit cycling at Rutland Water

Since it was, very, very wet again today! I of course had to get a wetsuit on and get out a cycle. I did 26.61 miles, with the wetsuit under my rain gear. I just took them off, to take the following photos :).

I have now done 262.9 miles of cycling this month. Making it the second most miles I ever done in any November. The most I have ever done in November is 500.4 miles back in 2010. Who knows, I may make that total. If the weather plays nice :P.

Another day, another wetsuited cycle

Since it was a bit on the cold and windy side when I left the house. I put my blueseventy axium wetsuit on yet again and went out cycling wearing it :).

Cycling and locked in my O’Neill Gooru wetsuit

Before setting off on today’s cycle. I put on my O’Neill Gooru F.U.Z.E GBS 2mm long Sleeve Spring Suit. Then added a padlock, leaving the key at home!! So I had no way off getting out of the wetsuit, till I was back home!

Here are some photos taken during the cycle. In which you can clearly see the padlock.

You can check out the route here at connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/390847593

Maybe the last white lycra cycle of 2013!

This maybe the last time, I go out cycling in my sexy Pearl Izumi Team Garmin-Chipotle team kit this year. Mainly since I am going on holiday on Wednesday and I am not back till the 6th October. By which point the weather, will have not doubt started to get much colder and wetter :(.

06-Aug-2013 : theBythams – Grantham Canal loop

I had great fun cycling from theBytams to Grantham, then back home via Grantham Canal and Woolsthorpe. I love cycling out that way, since I get to use National Cycle Network Route 15 (NCR 15) which runs along next to Grantham Canal for a good number of miles. Also it’s got some good hills, to give my legs a bit of a workout!

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph, route statistics and photos.
