Since, I now, have a car windscreen mount for my Garmin Virb Elite. I get some use of out it! So here is a short video. While driving from Anniesland Cross to Happendon Services via the Clyde Tunnel & the M74.
I made it to Scotland in good time!
I can’t believe just how good the weather was during the drive up to Killearn today. It was so nice, I had about had the sunroof fully open the whole time.
So good weather also made, me stop a lot and take photos of photos. I took 45 in total. You can check out a small selection of them below.
Driving over the A66
The first four photos are taken while driving over the A66, which is one of my favourite roads in the UK.
B7076 (NCR 74)
The next photos are taken along the B7076, which runs along mainly next to the A74(M). I use this road, mainly to get me off the motorway for a while. Also love this road, since I used it while doing the End to End cycle back in August 2009. Since National Cycle Route 74 (NCR 74) follows the road.
Vlog: Driving through the Clyde Tunnel
Myself driving through the Clyde Tunnel in Glasgow. From Whiteinch to Linthouse. At some point, I also really need to get my Lycra on and cycle through it! Using the cycleway and a pedestrian path that runs below each of the vehicle tunnels. Bad that I have never done it, since I grow up near to Glasgow!
For more information about the Clyde Tunnel check out en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clyde_Tunnel.
Vlog: A66 between Penrith and Scotch Corner
This may end up being the most boring ever video I have posted. I filmed the whole of the A66 section of the journey back from Scotland. I started the filming just outside of Penrith to the Scotch Corner service station.
If people do like this, I may film other journeys like the drive to and from work for example.
Friday – 25th February 2005
Today has not been a good day at all in the land of driving. I crashed my car!! The main thing is that me and boyfriend Rob, who were both in the car, when it happened are both OK! I just wish I could say the same thing about my car :(.
At least it does look like the garage should be able to put it back together again. I think it will cost me between £200 and £300 to get it fixed. I don’t really want to use my car insurance, because then when I have to renew it, later in the year it will go up. Which I don’t want at all. I find it hard finding the money to pay £707. Never mind finding more, if it went up.

I passed my driving test!!
I passed my driving test today! I was sure that I had failed it, before I even got out of the test centre car park. Because I was asked to do a reverse park. The first that I missed the car parking space big time. So I did it again, even the second time, I am sure that I was not in it. But I much have been, or she would have said something at the end of the test.
Then not long after leaving the centre, when I got to the first set of traffic lights, what did I do but still the car. At this point I was ready to give up!! I was more then sure that I had already failed it.
Then I had to do a reverse around a corner. Which yes you guessed it, I could not even do that one right. The first time I did it, I hit the kerb. But lucky when I did it again, I got it right.
But lucky my normal driving was not 2 bad. In total I got 10 driving faults. But I passed it, so that’s the main thing.
