Done just over 200 miles of cycling so far this month…

I am pleased with myself. So far I have done, just over 200 miles of cycling this month. Yes I know that really that much, still not bad since I have only done 6 cycles so far in September. Can’t see this month being the best month for the number of miles I get to do. Since I am going on holiday on the 23rd and not back till the 30th. So all the cycling needs to be done by then.

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph and route statistics.

Second ever 100 mile bike ride

I am so pleased with myself. I have just done, my second 100+ mile cycle ever!! The last time I did 100+ miles was back in September last year. Check out the post: First ever 100 mile bike ride to see the route I took then.

Lucky I planned the route in my head this time. So did not have to mini cycle around my village to get the miles up. Also really liked this road, covered lots of new roads. So glad I had a OS map with me, to stop myself from getting lost.

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph, route statistics and photos.

Longest cycle of this month (August) so far…

I am well pleased with this cycle route. Mainly due to finding lots of new roads to cycle on. It’s also the longest cycle of the month so far. It also brings my total distance so far this month to 422.3 miles. So only got another 218.5 more to go, to beat August’s 2011 total.

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph, route statistics and photos.

Happy days, at long last I have done my first long cycle of the month. Till now, only been doing 20 miles cycles, mainly due to weather not being at it’s best for cycling. Put it this way, I last went out a cycle on the 7th June and my cycling shoes are still not fully dry.

I am very pleased with how this cycle turned out. Ended up covering lots of roads I have never been on before. Even found my local TV Transmitter :).

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph, route statistics and photos.

Cycling from Killearn to Rowardennan

Just to think I was sure, I was not going to get any more cycling in during my time in Scotland. Well I was wrong. I found the time to cycle from Killearn to Rowardennan. Bring my total number of miles while up in Scotland to 144.21. So not to bad for just four cycles. It’s also only the second time, I have ever done this cycle. Vlog to follow soon..

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph, route statistics and photos.

Thornhill and Drymen loop cycle

I am well pleased, I have got out three cycles while up in Scotland. Even with all the rain and how busy I have been, seeing friends and family.

My aim was to do at least 100 miles up here. So far I have done 113.39. Can’t see me having the time to get any more cycling done. Since I am seeing a good friend tomorrow, then my Mum and Dad get back from there holiday on Wednesday. Then it’s back to England on Thursday.

I also can’t wait to get my Killearn area cycle map updated, with all the new roads I have covered, since I last updated it.

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph, route statistics and photos.

So happy I have now done this cycle, it’s been on my hit list for a while. The map may make it look boring, but believe me. It’s anything but. I was hoping to get lots and lots of photos during this cycle. But the rain put a stop to that. It was raining just about all the time. I did get lots of filming done. So I will uploading a vlog to go with this cycle in the next day or so.

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph and route statistics. Vlog to follow…

Longest April cycle EVER!

After all the rain, we have been having the last number of days. I wanted to end the month on a high. End it on a high, I did! Just set a new record for the longest cycle in April. I did 65.46 miles, so just bet last April’s record by 0.9 miles. I did want to do a longer cycle, but my left-hand glove has a big hole in it. So my hand was starting to hurt. Also when the sun went down, it was starting to get a bit on the cold side.

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph, route statistics and photos.

This is now the second time so far this year, I have cycled to then around Rutland Water. Last time I did the shorter loop. This time I did the longer loop, which takes in the Hambleton section.

During the cycle I was stopped to record, yet another vlog. Which will be on-line later this evening. I am sure you, will all love it. Since I am wearing my white Garmin kit :).
