At long last, I’ve done over 100 miles in single month this year! My total for July 2023 was 168.3 miles. But even that is 157.1 miles less than July of last year…

Bournemouth. Series 3, episode 2. In Bournemouth, Susan takes a ride on the land train along the seven-mile stretch of sandy beach. She then heads to the lower gardens joining other holidaymakers to listen to the band playing in the historic Pine Walk Bandstand. Along the coast, she boards the ferry to Mudeford which boasts some of the best beach huts in the region. She also meets Gareth Malone for a game of Jenga.

Well done me! Now done my 9th July of 2023! Time time, I did 21.33 miles. Which takes my total for month so far up to 144.6 miles! But that’s still 180.80 miles down on July of 2022!!

Amazing to think that Bugsy has walked 900 miles during 2023! He should make 1,000 miles during August, since he walks between 20 and 30 miles most weeks!
