Where are all your vlogs?

Since this new website went live, I have been asked where do I find all your vlogs and other video’s that use to be one the old website.  To make things nice and easy I have set up two new categories on the blog.

  • vlog/personal – Various personal vlogs that I have filmed over the years.
  • vlog/wetsuitlads – Videos that have been filmed for my Wetsuitlads website.

Still go lots and lots to post. So till they are all back on-line check out video section on my old website — archived.gordon-valentine.com/videos/.

Hello and welcome to my new look website 🙂 Hope that you all like it. It’s the biggest update this website has ever had since going live back in 1998. Don’t worry if you find things that don’t fully work. I am still working on bits of the website.

Also don’t worry, if you don’t find some of your favourite pages from the old website. Since in the next number of days, an archived version will be getting posted. So watch out for it’s URL 🙂

Thanks everyone for all your comments about the website so far… Hoping to make this new look website go fully live in the next week or so… Don’t worry, I will not be deleted the old website. I will just be archiving it. So you can still look at all the pages, that I don’t copy over to the new look website.

I spend most of the day working on this website. I hope that your all liking it so far… I am well pleased with it, so much better than the old look website. Which has not really changed much at all, since it first went live back in 1998.

Spent the first half of the day doing more work to this website. Hope you all like it say far.  I also went out a nice cycle, well mainly nice. Since about half way into it, it started to rain so I go a wee bit wet :(.  I did 19.07 miles, with a average speed of 13.1 mph, maximum speed was 28.8 mph and it took me 1:27.37 (h:m:s).

The title right now is only a temporally one, till I make a new look.  Plus I will start adding all the pages from the old website, once I happy with the look of the new website.

The main thing I did today was to go out a nice long(ish) cycle. I did 19.49 miles, with a average speed of 13.1 mph, maximum speed was 31.4 mph and it took me 1:28.45 (h:m:s).

Oh I am also in the process of playing around with Foursquare, check out my profile at foursquare.com/gsvalentine.

I went out my first cycle of the year, I only did 11.84 miles. But hey it’s start, so only 4,988.16 more to go… till I get to this years goal of 5,000 miles.

I did the long boring drive back Killearn to back to my village of Little Bytham a journey of around 320 miles. Think I did it in record time! Will not say how I did that! 🙂 I also went a new way, for a section of the journey. I used what years ago was the A74, which is now called the B7076, mainly used it, since I am so bored on the A74(M), also did it, since I used that road while doing the End to End cycle back in August 2009. So it was nice to get to see it again!

Once back in I had all the fun of unpacking everything. Then I had fun setting up my Sony BDP S370 Blu-ray Player which I got from my Mum and Dad has a Christmas present. The video quality is so good, reminds me of when I first went from VHS to DVD. Also great to get to watch HD stuff on my HD ready TV in my bed room at long last. So looking forward to watching one of my Blu-ray films in the next day or so. I already have a good list to pick from The Dark Knight, Sherlock, Top Gear: Polar Special, Newcastle – Australia and Torchwood – Children of Earth.
