Since we all love a good list. I’ve just made a list of all the request stops. So far, I am done just 7… So a long way to go, since I believe they are 150 or so railway request stops in Britain, which equates to about 6 per cent of all the nation’s stations.

Really can’t believe that today marks the last day that you will see a LNER HST on the ECML. So glad, that I went on the very last HST Highland Chieftain up to Inverness last Sunday.

They are only two railway stations in the UK, with Gordon in them. Just done one of them, which is Invergordon railway station, which in the Scottish Highlands on the Far North Line.

WOW! I can now say, I’ve done the northernmost railway station in the whole of the UK! Which, I am sure most of you will know is Thurso railway station up in highlands of Scotland.
