So pleased, I’ve ticked this one off my list! Since Angel Road railway station is due to close later this month.
In 2016/17 it was the least-used station in London, with an estimated 33,500 passenger entries/exits.
It will close on 19 May 2019. All services will switch to the new station at Meridian Water. So visit it, while you can!!

At long, long last… I’ve been back to Abbey Wood railway station! Not used that station in well over 10 years! Can’t believe how much it’s changed since my last visit! Of course, I will need to go back again, when Crossrail opens!

Yes, I know, I am very late to the party, but I’ve used High Speed 1 (HS1) at long last! I only went a short distance between Stratford International and St Pancras railway station. Next time, I will need to make sure, I do a longer journey.

WOW! I did the Charing Cross – Access All Areas tour, while in London today! It’s got to be, one of best things you can do in London! So great fun seeing parts of Charing Cross underground station, that the public don’t normally get to see!
The parts of the station you get to see have been closed to the public since 1999.
The Jubilee line platforms at Charing Cross are now synonymous with films and television. They have been used for films including Skyfall (2011/12) and Paddington (2013), and TV’s 24 (2014).
Check out www.ltmuseum.co.uk/whats-on/hidden-london/charing-cross. Right now, they are still some tickets for sale. But, they will sell out fast!
