Once they’re on the water, the situation escalates when it’s reported that the casualty doesn’t have his diabetes medication with him. In Skerries, on the east coast of Ireland, a husband watches on as his wife struggles on her kayak. When the crew race to her rescue, they discover her in the water and close to exhaustion.
