Grand Union Canal – Stoke Bruerne to Northampton ✅
That’s us just done another part of the Grand Union Canal. This time, we walked from Stoke Bruerne to Northampton. A distance of 9.79 miles. So only around 4 to 5 more days and I can say, I’ve walked all the way from London to Birmingham.

Grand Union Canal walk update : 13-Jan-2019
Since we started walking the Grand Union Canal, we have made it from London up to Northampton.
So far it’s taken us 10 days… That’s been broken up into the following…
- Day 1 – Paddington Basin to Bull’s Bridge – 15.10 miles
- Day 2 – River Thames to Slough – 16.44 miles
- Day 3 – West Drayton to Watford – 13.05 miles
- Day 4 – Watford to Apsley – 8.51 miles
- Day 5 – Apsley to Tring – 10.24 miles
- Day 6 – Tring to Leighton Buzzard – 12.31 miles
- Day 7 – Leighton Buzzard to Bletchley – 9.39 miles
- Day 8 – Bletchley to Wolverton – 11.97 miles
- Day 9 – Wolverton to Stoke Bruerne – 8.76 miles
- Day 10 – Stoke Bruerne to Northampton – 9.79 miles
Total distance so far: 115.56 miles.
