Oxford. Series 1, episode 2. Following the route of an abandoned line that connected England’s great university cities of Cambridge and Oxford and became Britain’s secret weapon during the Second World War. Passing through the Cambridgeshire countryside, the line returned to nature before arriving at Shuttleworth House, where the story of Richard and Dorothy Shuttleworth is uncovered.

As Hud and Miller interrogate Abby about her past, Saj realises that this is his chance at the big time and decides to try to stop the train his way. The pressure is on with just 39 minutes between all of the teams as they face the final leg of their journey, a 2,750km race across the Andes into Chile. Race leaders Kola and Mary Ellen walk a financial tightrope with just 10 percent of their budget left while Jeff and Freddy decide to make the most of the last stretch with an Argentinian steak dinner. Scott and Sam resort to selling hot dogs to boost their budget and Kelly and Jeremy take a different route to the rest of the teams but a broken-down bus pushes them hours behind.

In Hornsea, new recruit Liam joins an independent lifeboat. Can he pass the gruelling tests that will enable him to save lives at sea? Glampsite owners Ed and Verity create a bespoke tent with glorious views of Whitby’s gothic abbey.

After transforming the lives of a group of teenage boys and a cricket club in his hometown of Preston, former England captain and TV presenter Freddie Flintoff takes his team on a cricket tour in one of the most revered cricketing nations in the world, India. Lyme Regis. Series 7, episode 5. The comedian explores Britain’s best-loved seaside resorts, beginning with Lyme Regis on the south coast, starting at historic harbour, the Cobb. Lyme Regis is on Dorset’s Jurassic coast, and on Monmouth beach Susan meets chef and forager Harriet who shows her a locally sourced twist to accompany classic seaside favourite, fish and chips.
