Grand Union Canal walk update : 19-Nov-2018

Since we started walking the Grand Union Canal, we have made it from London up to Leighton Buzzard. So far it’s taken us 6 days… That’s been broken up into the following…

Driven: The Billy Monger Story (BBC 2/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Monday 19th November 2018)

Following the remarkable story of 18-year-old Billy Monger, one of Britain’s most exciting young racing drivers, who in April 2017 was involved in a devastating crash, resulting in the amputation of his legs. Incredibly, soon after his accident, Billy resolved to get back to racing, in the hope of becoming the first ever amputee to race competitively in a single-seater racing car.

Grand Designs (Channel 4/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Wednesday 21st November 2018)

Kevin McCloud, architect Damion Burrows, and design expert Michelle Ogundehin visit four more stunning homes looking to be crowned Riba House of the Year 2018. This time, the theme is Extreme Houses. There’s an awe-inspiring set of cantilevered black boxes which push the limits of engineering; a far-flung 21st century crofter’s cottage by a Loch in Scotland; a curvaceous minimal concrete home in London; and in Northern Ireland, a sculptural home designed around a single shape – the wedge. Which of them will make it onto the shortlist for the overall big prize?

Britain by Boat (Channel 5/HD | 8:00pm to 9:00pm | Friday 23rd November 2018)

Travelogue series reuniting Michael Buerk and John Sergeant to explore Britiain’s coastline by yacht. Their first task is to cross the Thames estuary, where they discover a genuine Dunkirk rescue boat and are challenged to eat oysters gracefully.

I’ve just given my photo gallery, yet another update! This time, below most^ of the photo galleries, you will get a nice map, showing the location, of each photo.

In the process of moving away from that photo website, which I will not be naming… I’ve been working on the photo galley, which is hosted on this website.

That’s the photo gallery now showing photo locations, again!! It use to work, till Google Maps, changed the code. I’ve now moved over to, OpenStreetMap which is far better anyway!
