Crewing Up. The behind-the-scenes story of what makes HMS Queen Elizabeth so unique and how her crew work together to breathe life into Britain’s biggest warship.

The Queen’s Green Planet (itv/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Monday 16th April 2018)

The Queen is dreaming of a lasting legacy, something that will carry her name and inspire her grandchildren. Her dream is to create a network of national forest parks from each of the 53 Commonwealth nations called the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy. Follow her, the members of her family and her staff as this amazing project comes to life over the next few months. The documentary offers a rare glimpse of three generations of the Royal Family co-ordinating the legacy of the Queen’s reign.

Paddington Station 24/7 (Channel 5/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Monday 16th April 2018)

Behind-the-scenes documentary series about one of the UK’s busiest transport hubs and the western rail network it serves. A fatality on the line at Slough station means closing the station and the line, leading to a standstill at Paddington. A Thai pricess and her entourage are eager for a tour of the station. Thieves have robbed a scrapyard and used the railway track to get away.

Documentary series. John Prescott explores the factories making some of the region’s best-loved foods. Wensleydale Creamery makes more than 4,000 tons of cheese a year, while Yorkshire’s largest pork pie factory provides 1.5m pies to the nation’s plates every week. Prescott tries to keep up with the staff at both.

History series. Tony Robinson tells the turbulent history of six of Britain’s cathedrals. Salisbury, complete with its famous spire, was Britain’s tallest medieval building. Over its 800-year life the cathedral has witnessed natural disasters, royal feuds, secret wartime operations and innovations that have altered the course of the nation.

Portillo’s Hidden History of Britain (Channel 5/HD | 9:00pm to 10:00pm | Friday 20th April 2018)

Documentary series. Michael Portillo unlocks the doors to four extraordinary abandoned locations. Built in the East End of London 250 years ago and closed in 2013, the Royal London Hospital pioneered medical breakthroughs and healthcare for generations of people.
