I often get asked, who is the lucky lad that takes my photos! Well about 9 of 10 times, it’s myself! While out cycling, I just about always, have my Manfrotto Befree Compact Travel Tripod and Sony Cyber-shot DSC HX400 Digital Camera with me!
That’s was the first real test using my new camera! So far, I am more than happy with the Sony Cyber-shot DSC HX400 Digital Camera! Only downside about it, it does not fit my old camera bag. So need to get a new one! Then my current bag has done me very well! Used it for my last two cameras. Also used it during the End to End cycle! Yes, any reason I have to plug that website 🙂
On Friday 8th January 2016, I ordered myself a new Sony Cyber-shot DSC HX40V Digital Camera from Jessops. It set me back £287. It turned up today. So far I am very pleased with it. Love the fact, I can control it using my mobile phone.
It’s also got a lot better zoom than my last camera. This one has a 50x optical zoom lens, when my last camera (Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX200V Digital Bridge Camera) only had a 30X optical zoom lens.
Here is a photo of myself wearing my RST Pro Series 1 Piece Leather Suit, taken with my new camera, controlled from my mobile phone
Yet another great member of staff leaves the Peterborough Greyhound Stadium. It’s getting very sad, lots of members of staff are leaving. Some of which, I have worked with for 4 years. Which happens most years in September, when they leave to start university.
When they do leave, we of course have to give them a great send off!
The cycle did not go very well. I got a flat back tyre 16 miles into the cycle. And turned out I only had a pump with me and no repair kit. Big opps! At least it give me something to speak about!
Since it was a another cold night here in the UK and all my winter cycling gear was in the wash. I went out cycling a wetsuit and motorcycle helmet :).
Lucky I noticed this black ice, while out cycling or I would have been off my bike.

I can’t believe it’s officially spring time here in the UK. But with all the snow, we have been having you could not tell at all. Look at all the snow on the B1176 between Swinstead and Corby Glen in Lincolnshire.
