Glen Etive, Glencoe and Glenfinnan Viaduct

Nick, myself and one of my live long friends Neil joined us for the next day of the Scotland tour!

We went to Glen Etive and Glencoe both used in Skyfall, James Bond film! And also the Glenfinnan Viaduct, which was of course used in Harry Potter.

Just going to these three places meant around 240 miles of driving! But at least, I love driving. So did not mind at all!

Driving from Glencoe to Green Welly Stop (Tyndrum)

Driving along the A82 from just outside Glencoe to Green Welly Stop (Tyndrum). This is one of my favourite roads in Scotland! It also brings back, great memories of doing the End to End cycle. Since I cycled, the whole of this road!

Photos from my mini Loch Lomond tour

Here are some photos taken around the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It was a great day out! Still can’t get over just how warm Scotland is for the time of year. Normally I would at the least have to worry about ice on the roads. All I had to worry about water on the roads and lots of it!

Could also tell it was warmer than normal. Since there was still lots of people out on there motorbikes. And of course lots of people out cycling. Seeing all the people cycling up the side of Loch Lomond. Did sort of make me wish, I had been one of them.

I will leave you will some of the photos, from today’s super day out! Please make sure you comment on some of the photos :).

Fun drive around the Scottish Highlands

I had a great day with my Mum and Dad, oh and the family dog Ghilie driving around some of the Scottish Highlands. Looking at the map below it may not look like that many miles. But going by my Dad we did 130 miles.

It was also a good drive to get the dog use to going out in the car. It’s the longest car journey he’s ever been on.

Below are some photos from the drive. Sorry they are not more. No idea why, but don’t take many photos while out with Mum and dad.
