Monsal Trail! Tick!

Well OK, I’ve walked the whole of the Monsal Trail before… But last time, we did it over two days! Walked to around the half way point from Bakewell. Then the following day, we walked from the other end at Blackwell Mill… Of course, had Cooper with us then…

This time, we walked the whole thing in one go… From start to end, then back to the start! Covering a total distance of 18.53 miles!

It was also the longest walk that Bugsy has EVER done in his life! So, very proud of him today!

Amazing mini walk to Redkirk Point

That was an amazing mini walk from Redkirk to Redkirk Point! Which is a pronounced headland on the northern shore of the Solway Firth, with great views over to the Cumbrian Mountains.
