Grace of God (Part 2). Series 29, episode 8. Part two of two. Jack awakes in prison and quickly realises one of his fellow inmates is Marcus Retford, against whom he gave evidence in a case. Realising he is in danger, he asks a guard if he can be moved for his own safety. At the Bowman Centre, the team are desperate to prove their colleague’s innocence and work on the identity of the mystery body. But with Retford and his sidekick making it clear that Jack is in their sights, Nikki and the team don’t have much time to spare.

A cast member is poisoned during a performance of The Tempest after drinking from a bottle of red wine with a lethal quantity of cyanide in, but the team are left confused as to how two other actors drank from the same bottle and emerged unscathed. Mervin is informed that his half-brother Solomon is set to inherit everything from their deceased mother and he won’t answer any calls.
