The concluding part of historian Dan Snow’s documentary series tells the powerful and heroic stories of those who risked their lives on the beaches of Normandy, to save the world from Nazi Germany.

The most westerly town in the UK, Enniskillen is surrounded by beautiful lakes, is busy with independent shops, and attracts forward-thinking entrepreneurs. But its serene way of life is under threat from plans for underground gas exploitation.

School-based drama. It is the day of Audrey and Ndale’s wedding, but with jealous Sonya as bridesmaid the day may not go so smoothly. Elsewhere, Michael is keeping his plans to save Waterloo Road secret from Christine, Lula steps up her plans against Nox, and Nikki’s first day as headteacher does not go to plan.

Horizon: The Secret Life of the Cat (BBC2/HD | 9pm to 10pm | Thursday 13th June 2013)

Series exploring topical scientific issues. Horizon discovers what your cat really gets up to when it leaves the cat flap. In a groundbreaking experiment, 50 cats from a village in Surrey are tagged with GPS collars and their every movement is recorded, day and night, as they hunt in our backyards and patrol the garden fences and hedgerows. Cats are fitted with specially developed cat-cams which reveal their unique view of our world.

Dara O Briain and the team return for a brand new series looking back at the funny side of the week’s news, featuring guests Milton Jones, Josh Widdicombe and Katherine Ryan.
