14-Mar-2013 : First real test of Trek 8.3 DS Hybrid Bike

Today I give my new Trek 8.3 DS Hybrid Bike it’s first real test. Mainly since I did the longest cycle it’s done so far since getting it. Also it’s the first time I have used it off road. I used it, while cycling along the Grantham Canal towpath. I also used the bike’s bike front suspension. I normal have it locked. Since I just find, all I do is bounce up and down. So it’s nice to have suspension, but can’t see me using it that often.

I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph and route statistics.

Route map:-

  1. Not bad matey! I have full suspension on my bike and always have it in use. Where were these killer hills then? Be nice to see them on streetview!
