The first version of this page was made when I was at Stow College all the way back in 1998, when I was still a young thing.

Carlisle
  • Carlisle - This mediaeval castle has been a cornerstone of the history of Carlisle for over 900 years. The castle's many ancient chambers, stairways and dungeons just seep with tales from the past. They also house the Museum of the King's Own Royal Border Regiment. Watch too, as Carlisle's controversial new Millennium Gallery continues to take shape.
London
  • Big Ben Cam - A great view of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben from across the Thames River.
  • Radio 1 News room - BBC Radio 1's news room, webcam.
  • Radio 1 studios cam - Look right into the studios of BBC Radio 1 in London, and Mark & Lard's studio in Manchester.
  • Walford Cam - Your eye on Walford! These are live pictures from Albert Square.
  • Millennium Wheel - Multiple views of the Millennium Wheel along the Thames River in London, England. 5 second updates.
Manchester
  • Manchester - From this camera you can see one of the city's best known landmarks - the grand Edwardian tower of the Palace Hotel. You can also see Oxford Road station on the left.
Newcastle
  • The Tyne Bridge - BBC's webcam of The Tyne Bridge in Newcastle.

Glasgow
  • Buchanan Street - This camera faces, for the most part, straight down Buchanan Street itself. Watch out for close-ups and Glasgow's other famous street.
