Rob
and me got 8:00am. Both had showers, then got ready for going
to Pride
London. Like last last year, we had a great time. To see photos
from the day, check out my
2005 photo gallery. The photos can be found on page 8 and
9.

Rob
got up at 11:00am. So for once he got out of bed before me. Most
times we get out of bed together. I did not get out of bed till
about 12:00pm. I needed the extra time in bed, since I was till
very tired from all the walked that we did yesterday while at Pride London.
Once we were both out of bed, we both checked our email and played
about on the Internet for a while. Then since it was another great
day outside, we both made up our minds to go to Rutland
Water. We got to Rutland
Water at about 1:30pm. We parked the car park near to Empingham.
Then from there we walked to Whitwell. While there we found a
nice place to seat down and both a ice cream and a drink. Then
from there we walked to Rutland Watersports and sit down for about
30 minutes and watched some guys windsurf etc.
Then we walked back to the car. Once back home, Rob
cooked us both food, then we eat it while watching Rob's
Doctor Who: Horror of Fang Rock on DVD. It was very good indeed.
Then later on in the afternoon Rob
and me went a 6 mile to Castle
Bytham and back. Rob did very, very well, while doing the
cycle. He managed to cycle up some hills that he, normally has
to get off his bike and walk up. So well done Rob,
you did very, very well indeed.
After the cycle we both played about on the PCs for a while.
Then had some fun doing some other stuff, but I am not going to
say what. Then we watched the first episode of Doctor Who: Resurrection
of the Daleks before going to bed. |
| Wednesday - 6th July 2005 |
I got up at 12:00pm. Then I
run straight down stairs and jumped into the shower. I wanted
to make sure that I was out of the bath room, in time to watch
the Olympics announcement on BBC
News 24. The result was read out at IOC president Jacques
Rogge at 12:49 BST. When he said "London", I just could
not believe it. I was jumping and down down shouting "YES!"
I was so sure that Paris, was going to great it. But at the end
of the day, they picked London. So I am, one happy boy. It's made
my day, hearing that great news!!
At about 1:00pm. My Dad phoned me up, to find out who had won
the 2012
Olympic Games. At one point, he did not really want London
to get it. But after what French President Jacques Chirac, said
about British, he so did not want French to get the games.
After I had watched lots of stuff about London getting the games
on BBC
News 24. I cooked myself lunch and had it while watching Neighbours.
Then after lunch, I played about on the net for a while. Being
going outside, to cut the back grass. Then after that I spend
a good 2 hours, outside doing some gardening. By the time, I was
done I had filled up, three bags.
Then I had a drink, played about on the Internet for a while.
Then I changed into my Nike USPS cycling shorts and t-shirt and
went a cycle to Corby Glen and back. The cycle was just over 12
miles, I would have gone for a longer one, if it was not for the
fact that I had to be back in time for work.
Once back from my cycle, I quickly changed into my work stuff.
Then set off to the dog track at about 5:25pm. I got to work at
6:00pm. So I got there just in time. It was not too bad of a evening
at all. In fact is was fun really. On the way back from work I
called in at Tesco
Extra to get some good and drink.
Once back home just after 12:00am. I of course, like every night
at work. I went onto the Internet. While doing that I also watched
even more stuff about London getting the 2012
Olympic Games, on the worlds best news channel, BBC
News 24. Then I spend a while given this website a update.
Before going to bed at about 2:00am. |
| Thursday - 7th July 2005 |
I just could not believe it
when my radio alarm went off and I heard the news on BBC
Radio 1. At first I was sure I much have been dreaming. But
I turned on TV, it was all true. They had been blasts in London.
At first they were not sure what is what. But as we all know how
it turned out to be bomb blasts. I just don't see how anyone can
be, so sick and do this. It was the last thing that London needed
after getting the great news that they have won the 2012
Olympic Games.
Sorry don't really know what else to say about today. I spend
most of the day watching the news and reading about it on the BBC News website.
Of course like most people in the UK, if not in the world. I was
very shocked, by the whole thing. |
| Saturday - 10th July 2005 |
I got out of bed at about 10:15am.
Then I jumped into the shower. Then I quickly checked my email.
Before getting ready to cycle into Stamford to pay money into
my bank account. When I got to the bank, I could not believe how
busy it was. It was so busy, that people were queuing, out the
door. Since I really needed to pay money into my bank account.
I had to really join the queue. It took me about 15- 20 minutes
to get to front of the queue and pay my money in.
Once done at the bank, I got back onto my bike and cycled back
home. Once home, I cooked myself some lunch. Then I went outside
into the back garden for a while to make the most of the sun.
Then I went out a short walk with the dog, I did not want to take
she to far. Since it was hot and would not have been fair on her.
Then I played about on the Internet for a while. Then I got ready
for cycling into work. I set off from the house just after 4:20pm.
And got into work at just being 6:00pm. Just in time for work.
People at work, could not believe it. When I walked the door,
in my cycling shorts and t-shirt. The sweat, was running off me
in rivers. But then after doing 22 miles, in temperatures
up to 25C. It was bound to happen. I did get some nice comments
from people saying how nice my legs looked which was nice.
Once I had cooled down a bit, I changed from my cycling gear
into my work clothes. It was not the best night at work. It fact
it was crap night. But I will not go into that. Since it's all
over, things like that are best left at work.
I was done at work at about 11:15pm. Then I get the great fun
of cycling home in the dark. I had cycled to work many times before.
But this was the first time, that I cycled both ways. The cycle
back home, took me a bit longer, then it did to get there. Mainly
because I need to get better front lights. Cars etc, can see me
great with them. I really need ones that they can see me, but
I can also see the road with them. So before I do the cycle again,
I think I will need to sort myself out with some new front lights.
I got home at about 2:00am.
Once home. I had a nice cold drink to cool myself down a bit.
Which I really needed, it's not often that I do 61 miles in a
day on my bike. Then I played about on the net. Then I watched Casualty,
before going to bed at about 3:00am. |
| Friday - 22rd July 2005 |
| Just some very quick news and
that is that myself and my great boyfriend
Rob have been going for out 17 moths, as of today! |
| Saturday - 23rd July 2005 |
Rob
and me went into Stamford for the most of the day, while there we
walked to Burghley
House and back. |
| Saturday - 23rd July 2005 |
| I am so, happy. I have now done
over 400 miles on my bike in one month. Which for me is a record.
Now I have just to aim for 500 miles. |
| Friday - 29th July 2005 |
I was having not 2 bad of a
day, till I logged into OUT and found the message below in my
inbox. It really, really pissed me off, since I have been a member
of OUT, since 1998. I had always paid of my membership, since
they started changing for one. Since money, is a bit short right
now, I don't have the £45.00 membership fee. Which if you
get, me is way, to much anyway, since you don't really get anything
for it.
So I think I will be saying good-bye to OUT after all these years.
I have meet, many great people off OUT, including my great boyfriend
Rob.

| Monday - 1st August 2005 |
I got up just before 10:00am.
Then I had a shower, then I quickly checked my email. Being driving
into Stamford. While into Stamford I first went to Halfords to
get a new aerial for my car. Since the one on it as never worked
to well, since I went to Nottingham to see Runrig.
I have a feeling that they trying to get it off my car, but give
up, and ended up breaking the damn thing. I just hope that the
new ones works. It only cost £11.99, so if it does not
work. Then I will need to try another one.
Then
from Halfords I
drove to the Morrisons petrol
station to full my car up with petrol. Petrol is costing, way,
way to much for my liking. It's 89.9p per litre. So in other
words it costs me £20.01, just to put 25.02 litres in.
I really hope that cost comes down soon. Or I will have to really
cut down on using my car. Then from Morrisons I
went to my bank to pay last weeks pay in. Then I went to get
my hair cut. I had been meaning to do it for a good while. I
really hate getting it done. So I had been putting it off. Now
it's been done, I feel and look so much better for it.
Then from Stamford I drove to Rugby the normal route, to go
and pick up my great boyfriend Rob.
The roads were very busy at all, so it was a nice and easy drive
there and back.
While on the way back though Stamford can called in at Morrisons.
To do our weekly food shopping. We spend just over £30.
So all doing well that, well get us though the whole week.
Then once back in Little
Bytham. I cooked us both food. We had it while playing
about on the Internet. Then after that we went out a walk with
the dog. It should have been a nice walk, it turned up to be
anything but. She run away, no idea why. Since she's ever done
it before. We then spend the next hour or so looking for her.
Lucky for us and of course her. One of my next door neighbours
found her, thank god.
After at all we just spend the rest, of the evening chatting,
watching TV and playing about on the Internet before going to
bed. |
| Tuesday - 2rd August
2005 |
Rob and
me both got out of bed at 10:00am. Then we both had showers.
When the post man came I was very funny. Because we had my new
bike back tyre with him, that I had ordered from Chain
Reaction Cycles on Sunday. So getting it today, was
very fast indeed. Since they are not open on Sundays, and it
did come all the way from Ballyclare, in Northern
Ireland. I needed to get a new back tyre since my old one, on
my bike was bald. It was getting so bad, it would have been very
dangerous to use my bike, the way it was.
So of course, since it was here, I did not waste anytime, in
taken off my old tyre and putting on my nice new one. It only
took me about 10 minutes to do, with Rob's help
of course. The last time, I tired to change my back tyre, I give
up and ended up having to get Mark to do it for me.
Once I had the new back tyre on my bike. I asked Rob if
he wanted to go for a nice cycle. He said yes of course. Since
he loves going for cycles with me. So we both got ready. I put
on my sexy Nike USPS cycling shorts
on. And Rob put
my sexy Nike "Discovery Team" shorts on. If you want
to see more photos from the cycle, then check out my
photo section.
At the start of the cycle I did not tell Rob,
where we, were going to cycle to. As I did not want to put him
off, by telling him that we, were about to do a 23 mile cycle.
He soon, worked out where we were cycling too. Since we have
done the same route, many times in the car, when driving to Rutland
Water.
He did very, very well indeed. While doing the cycle. He did
not once get off, his bike and walk up any of the many, many
hills ago to way to Rutland Water. It may have taken us a bit
longer to get there, than it would if, I had just gone by myself.
I don't mind at all. Since it's great getting to go out and cycle
with my great boyfriend
Rob. Once we got to Rutland
Water, we both had a ice cream and a drink each, then a bit
of a rest before cycling back home.
Once
back home. I cooked us both lunch. Then we both played about
on the Internet for a while. Then before long it was time for
me to get ready and drive to work. It was a good evening at work.
Not problems at all, and the evening went fast, which is always
good. It makes the evening go by faster.
Once home. I give my Rob,
lots and kisses and hugs. Then before long, it was time to go
to bed |
| Thursday - 4th August
2005 |
Rob and
me both woke up at about 11:30am. We did not get out of bed,
till about 1:30pm. Because we stayed in bed and watched Holby
City and the second part of Silent
Witness. They were both very good indeed. I am not 2 sure
if Rob really likes Silent
Witness, it was very sweet on him to stay in bed with me
and watch it.
Once we got out of bed, like normal, we both had showers. Then
we played about on the Internet for a while. Then we had some
lunch. Then we played about on the net for some more.
Then at about 4:00pm. Since it was nice, warm and sunny outside.
I asked Rob,
if he wanted to go another long cycle. Well a long one, for him
away. He said yes, he would love too. So we both changed into
out sexy cycling shorts and t-shirts. This time, we had no idea
at all where we were cycling too. Since he had never been the
route before. We cycled to Tallington, we went a different route,
to the way that I normally go. Mainly I did not want my Rob cycling
on busy roads. Because unlike me, he is not use to cycling on
busy roads.
He did very well, while doing the cycle. I think he liked it
more then the cycle to Rutland Water, mainly because the route
to Tallington, is nice and flat, for most of the way. We did
the cycle in 1 hour 44 minuets, with a avenge speed of 11.8 mph.
Which is not too bad at all for a 20 mile cycle.
When we got to Tallington, we called in at the petrol station.
To get something to drink and of course a ice cream each. Then
we took our bikes, to a foot bridge that goes over the East Coast
mainline. And get our ice cram and drinks, while watching and
taken lots of photos, of the trains going past. Then we got back
on our bikes and cycled back to Little
Bytham.
Once back home. We played played about on the Internet again.
While on the Internet, I also added photos of the cycle to Tallington,
to my photo
section. Then we watched Doctor Who, The Aztecs, before going
to bed, at about 2:00am. |
| Saturday - 13th August
2005 |
I
got up at about 9:30am. Which for me one Saturday, is very early
indeed. I have no idea, why I got up so early. I should could
not get back to sleep, so did not see the point in staying bed.
Once out of bed, like everyday of the week. I had a shower,
got dressed. Then I had some breakfast cereal and eat it, while
checking my email and playing about on the net.
Then I logged into OUT, to see what messages I had on it. When,
I did I was very pissed off, I had another message from them
telling me to renew my membership. The membership fee is £45
for a year. Which is way to much for website, like that if you
ask me. So after being a member since '98. I deleted my account
with them. Which I did not really want to do, I was getting so
pissed off with the site. I could not see what else I could really
do. If it was not for that website, I would have never meet my
great boyfriend
Rob.
So if like me, you don't like having to pay £45 for OUT.
They give kagoul.com a
go. It's much the same idea as OUT. But right now it's 100% free.
It's got things that OUT does not have, like blog's and it's
own messager service.
OK. Yes I stop going on about that website OUT for now on. Like
I just said, please do join kagoul.com.
So now onto other news. At long last my bike rack for my car
turned up today from Edinburgh
Bicycle. I ordered it about 3 weeks ago. It took so long
to come because they had to wait to get my in shock. If you look
at the photo above, you can see it on the back of my car. I only
put it on my car, with the help of Mark. Since I could not work
out now it fixed. To double check that it fitted my car. I can't
wait to use it for the first time. It will make taken my and Rob's bikes
to Rutland Water so much easier.
Then after that I spend most of the rest of the evening on-line
chatting to people on-line. I could not really do much else,
since it did nothing but rain all day. I did not really feel
like going out and getting WET.
Then in the evening I was of course working at the Peterborough
Greyhound Stadium, it was a very busy evening. Which is
most ways I like, it makes the night go so much faster. We
sold 67 bottles of wine, coming to a grand total of £873.50.
So I was keep very busy indeed.
Once back from work, I chatted to my boyfriend
Rob for a while, before going to bed at about 1:00am. |
| Monday - 22nd August
2005 |
| Rob and
me have now been going out for 1 and half years as, of today. It's
does not feel, that long at all. Lets just hope that we have many
more great years together. Since we love each other, so much, I
am sure that we will do. |
| Monday - 5th September
2005 |
First of all, sorry that I
have not been doing a good job of updating this website for a
while. I had the flu. So spend most of last week in bed, feeling
very sorry for myself. I am much better now, you will all be
glad to hear.
I wake up at about 9:00am. Then I made up my mind, to get my
car fixed. It's been playing up for a while. And after speaking
to someone at work about it. I mind up my mind, that I really
better get it fixed. I told him, that I think it's the wheel
bearings. He told me, that if they fully go, it would break lots
of other things, so would end up costing a hell of a lot to get
fixed.
So phoned up some local garage's. I first phoned up, a garage in the village, they said that,
were very busy. So could not look, at it, till Thursday. So I said,
OK, thanks. I will try somewhere else then. So then I phoned
up another garage, in the next village, just up the
road. I was in luck, they told me, just to bring in up and they
would have a look at it.
When David, the person who owns, the garage. Heard the sound
they, were making. He told, me to leave the car with them and
they would fix it today for me. It said, it would cost about £150
to get it fixed. But that soon changed, when he phoned me up
later. He told me that both of the front wheel bearings, had
gone and so had one of the back ones. So by the time, they had
fixed everything the bill come to £302.82. £129 of
that was labour, then £128.72 was parts. Then the rest
was VAT.
Oh well at least it's all fixed now. And you can hear yourself
think when driving again. It was not till it was fixed, that
I noticed just now bad, it had become.
P. S. Just one more thing, before I go. I would like to say,
a very, very big-thank to my Mum and Dad for giving me £200,
to help with getting it fixed. I don't know what I would do with
out you. Your both live savers. |
| Monday - 12th September
2005 |
Rob and
me both got out of bed at about 10:30am. Then we both had showers.
Then we both used the Internet for about 10 minutes or so, to
check our email etc. Then I drove us both into Stamford, so that
I could pay late week's pay into the bank. For once, when we
went into the bank there for no queue. Which was very nice indeed,
in and straight back out again. Then after the we were done in
the bank, we just drove back to Little Bytham. As we did not
need to go to the shops, since we went on Monday.
Once back home. Rob very
nicely cooked us both some lunch. Then after lunch we both watched Neighbours on BBC1.
Then I give the back grass a much needed cut. While my great
boyfriend Rob,
give my room a quick clean.
Then after that we both our sexy cycling gear on, then we went
a cycle to Tallington and
back. When we both got to Tallington we
called in at local petrol station, so that ourselves a drink
and ice cream ice cream. We had them while watching some trains
go, on and down the East Coast Mainline. Then we both cycled
back home. We did the cycle in 1 hour 33.54 minutes, which is
not too bad, for a 20 mile cycle. I could do it faster, if I
did it by myself. Since I am a bit fitter, then Rob is. I can't
mind, at all. It's great fun getting something that you love
with your boyfriend.
Once back home, we both had a nice cold drink to cool, ourselves
down a bit. Then we played about on the Internet for a bit. Then
at about 6:00pm. I made up my mind to another cycle. Since I
am way behind, on how many miles I would like to do this month.
Since at the start of the month, I had the flu, so spend more
or less a whole week in bed, feeling very sorry for myself. I
did the Corby
Glen loop as I call it. So I did just over 17 miles.
When after I got back from the cycle. Rob very
nicely cooked us both some dinner. Then after we had it, we just
spend the rest of the evening playing about on the Internet and
watching stuff on TV. Before going to bed at about 1:30am. |
| Wednesday - 28th September
2005 |
| I would just like to say a very,
very big thank-you to my wee baby Rob.
He send me real flowers though the post. For my 26th birthday,
which is tomorrow. I have had flowers before from him. Never though
the post. Thanks so much Rob, I would say it's the most romantic
thing, that anyone as ever done for me. So thanks Rob,
I love you so much. |
| Friday - 30th September
2005 |
So I was glad when work was
over. And I was back at home, with my boyfriend Rob.
Once I had time to relax, after work. I phoned up Orange to register
my new mobile phone. It did not take me long at all to do. Then
about 15 minutes after the call, my new mobile was fully ready
for me to use. The new phone, will take me a while to get use
to. Since I am not use to mobile phones that have a colour screen
and camera.
Then after I had sorted out my new mobile. I played about on
the net, and chatted to my Rob.
Before we both went to bed at about 2:30am. |
|
