I
got up at about 9:00am the easyish that I have got up so far
this year. I then had a shower, checked my email. Then my Mum
and Dad very nicely give me a lift into Glasgow City centre so
that I could meet up with Scott.
I got into Glasgow about 15 minutes before I had to meet Scott
at Queen Street train station. Which was good, because I had
a while to look at all the cute boys in Glasgow. I would say
that Glasgow has more cute boys, then most UK cites that I
have been too.
Once Scott got to Queen Street Station at about 11:00am, we
worked out that we were going to do. We made up our minds,
since it was a nice day to do some more walking. So we walked
down to Glasgow Central Station, then got a SPT train
to Pollokshaws West. I think it has to be the shortest train
journey that I have had in my whole life. The journey only
lasted for only about 10 minutes, if even that.
When we got all the train we walked to Pollok Country Park.
Which is a Country park in the south side of the city. We only
found it after asking a runner were it is. The first thing
that we both liked about it, when we walked into it. A very
nice cute guys come running towards us. Even better for me,
he was wearing the type of stuff that I like. He was wearing
black cycling shorts, with white normal shorts over the top
of them. Which I find very sexy indeed.
Once I had my fun looking at the cute runner we then went
to Burrell Collection, which is in the centre of the park.
I was glad that we both went to see it, but it was not really
my type of thing at all. But at least I can say that I have
been to it.
Once we had finishing looking about, we went for a nice long
walk around the park. If it was not for the M77, you could
have forgetting that you're in one of the biggest City's in
the UK.
Once we had walked about finishing we walked back to the train
station, then got the train back into the city centre. Then
we both went to Pizza
Hut to get food. Which was great as always, then we had
a quick look around the shops.
Then we went to see Rob who lives just outside of the City
Centre. It was great to see him again and have a nice chat.
I had need seen him, in while. So thanks very much Rob for
putting up with Scott and me.
Then at about 10:50pm. I walked Scott to Central Station,
so that he could get this train back home. When I walked up
to Buchanan Street Bus station to get the 11:30pm bus back
to my Mum and Dad's house.
I got back home at about 12:40am. I was so glad to get back
home again. I had been on my feet for most of the day since
10:45am. Has Scott said to me, I think that we did more walking
today, then we did last Sunday when we both walked about 9
miles. It was so nice to get into my bed and to go to sleep. |
| Sunday - 4th January 2004 |
In the morning before getting
out of bed, I watched a television program on STV called "The
Test" about a dyslexic guy who tied a new 6 week long treatment
to help him overcome his dyslexia. It was a very good program
indeed. I could just not believe, just how much better he could
read and write at the end of it.
Once I got up of bed at about 12:30pm. I went on the Internet
to check my e-mail and also to add a new model to my wetsuitlads
website. Then for the rest of the day I just spend it watching
TV and playing about on the Internet.
Then in the evening I had a very nice home cooked meal with
my Mum, Dad, Craig and Douglas. I love my Mum's cooking, it's
very good indeed. I will miss it, when I got back down to England
on Tuesday. |
| Tuesday - 6th January 2004 |
I got up at about 10:00am.
I had shower, checked that I had everything for packed for getting
the train back down to England. Then my Mum very nicely cooked
me some breakfast. Then I did one last check to make sure that
I had everything, including my train tickets and young persons
rail card. Then I said good-bye to my Mum, which I hate doing
because I know how much so loves me and does not like it when
I go back to England.
Once I had said my good-byes to my Mum. Dad very nicely give
me a lift to Glasgow so that I could get the 12:00pm train from
Central Station. He dropped me off on West Nile Street, then
it was also a couple minutes walk down to the train station.
When I got to the train station at about 11:30am, the train was
already there. Which was very good indeed, because I did not
have to stand about waiting for it. I could get straight onto
it. I left Glasgow died on time at 12:00pm.
I am always just a bit sad when I am on the train going back
down to England, mainly because I love Scotland so much and of
course I love seeing my Mum and Dad. But at least all going well
this month if I pass my driving test and get a car sorted out,
I can see myself going up to Scotland a lot more often. But even
once I have passed my driving test and got myself a car, I still
can see myself getting the train up to Glasgow a lot. Because
I love traveling by train. It's so nice to sit down and to let
someone do all the work. And just watch the world go by, which
you can't do when your driving a car.
The train got into Peterborough about 10 minutes late. Which
is not too bad. When I got off the train Matthew was very nicely
waiting there for me, to give me a lift back home. Which was
very nice of him!
When I got back home I un-packed all of my stuff. Which took
me a while, because I always come back with more stuff then I
go up with. Once I had un-packed all my stuff. I opened up my
desktop computer to put a USB 2 card into it. Which I got from
my Mum and Dad for Christmas. Lucky when I put it in and installed
it's drivers it all worked. Which is always good.
Then Mark and me went to Grantham so that he could take the
higher van back. And pick this car up. We also calling in at
Asda to get some good.
When I got back home it was str8 off to bed. Because it had
been a very long day indeed. |
| Thursday - 8th January 2004 |
I got up at about 10:30am.
Had a nice hot shower, then checked my email, then played about
on the Internet for a while.
At 1:00pm I had a two hour driving lesson. I had not really
been looking forward to it, because I not had done any driving
since the 17th December 2003. But lucky it went very well indeed.
Maybe I should go on holiday more often . I
just hope that I drive that good when I do my driving test, which
is very soon indeed.
Once I got back from my driving lesson I had some food. Before
Mark and me set off for work. On the way there we stopped off
at Peterborough. So that I could get myself a black shirt and
a tie for wearing at work. I got them both from Burton's. The
shirt was £16.00 and the tie was £7.00. Now that
I get to wear black at work, it means that I am going up in the
world, because that's what all the supervisors wear. I also think
it's far better for me, then wearing a white shirt and a black
bow-tie. Mainly because white is not really my colour at all.
I don't normally work Thursday night, because it's never normally
open. It was only open tonight for the staff Christmas party.
I had a choose of going to it or working it. So I just said I
may as well work it. Mainly because the money was 2, good to
turn down. It was double pay.
We got to work at about 4:00pm to set everything up. Once we
had set everything up. Lee very nicely cooked us some food. The
food was very nice indeed. He had 8oz Steak, which was very nice
indeed! And better still it was free. We got done at work at
about 11:00pm.
Once I got home at about 11:40pm. I checked my email, played
about on the net for a while. Then it was off to bed. |
| Saturday - 10th January 2004 |
During the day I did not really
do that much, other then the normal. It other words spend way
to much time on the Internet and watched crap on TV.
Then in the evening I was working at the dog
track. At first I was not really looking forward to it,
because one party had booked half of the Restaurant. And they
has ordered a bottle of wine each. In other words over 100
and something bottles of the stuff. So at the start of the
night me and two other people spend about half an hour opening
it all.
Then I had to count the wine and make sure that I kept good
track of where and who was having the wine. Which was a really
hard job in it's self. At one point I had about 4 wine waiters
taking all the wine down for me.
At the end of the night when I had to check the wine list, I
was, so, so happy. Because it all added up. Even better we were
one bottle up. hehehehehe. I am so good. Just in case you wanted
to know we sold 184 bottle of wine, coming to over £1,500.
Which is a hell of a lot of money if, you ask me.
When I got home I just watched some TV, checked my email for
one last time, then went to bed. |
| Monday - 12th January 2004 |
In the morning at 9:30am I
had a two hour driving lesson. I did not go as well has it did
on Thursday. Which did some what piss me off!! It would normally
worry me two much at all. But I will be doing my driving test
very soon indeed. So I just hope that my next number of lessons
so better .
Then in the afternoon I did some things about the house. Did
a washing, cleaning etc. Then I walked the dog.
Then I spend most of the rest of the day in bad, because I started
to feel very un-well. Which is the last thing that I needed,
with having a driving test next Tuesday (22th January 2004).
I got out of bed at about 8:00pm. Then spoke to this really
cute guy from Austria on ICQ for
a number of hours before, taken myself back off to bed again. |
| Thursday - 15th January 2004 |
I got up at about 11:30am.
Then I went on the Internet to check my email. Then I did more
work to Wetsuitlads,
because yesterday I ordered more web space from 34sp.com,
so that it will no longer be hosted on this website. I had to
upload the whole website again and change all the CGI code so
that the guestbook, e-cards etc would all work.
Then in the afternoon Mark and me went into Stamford, so he
could put money into the bank. Then we went to Peterborough so
what he could drop some stuff off at the dog track. Then we went
to Office World to get paper. Then it was back to Stamford to
do some food shopping at Morrisons.
Once we got back home. I just played about on the Internet and
watched Holby
City that I had recorded on Tuesday night. Then I phoned
my Dad to see how things are going at home. Then I watched The
Alan Clark Diaries on BBC
Four. Which was TV at it's best! So good on the BBC.
I can't wait to see next week's Episode. Then I spoke to Scott
on the phone for just over one hour. Before listening to some
music, then I took my self off to bed. |
| Friday - 16th January 2004 |
Today was all going well till
I got to work. I was then told that I had done the wine list
wrong on Wednesday night and it was out by 7 bottles. It really
pissed me off and up-set me, because I may be dyslexic, but even
I can count up to 24. The wine list was out by one, on Wednesday
night, which I had told them about. So how they come up will
7 bottles, I have no idea!! So was it a bit of a bad mood all
night, because of it! To me it was like them saying, I can't
do my job. Which I know for a fact can I do.
So after Friday night, I don't even know if I want to work there
anymore! I can put up with a lot of thing. But being told, that
I can't do my job right! When I know that I can do, is one thing
I don't want to put up with!
I was just so glad to get back home and unwind again! |
| Tuesday - 20th January 2004 |
I did it!!!! I am, so, so
happy! I passed my driving test today! I would like to say a
very, very, very, VERY big thank-you to Phil my driving instructor.
If it was not for him I could have have done it .
When she said she was pleased to say you have passed. I did not
know weather to start to jump up and down in the car or cry.
For more read my
driving page.
When I phoned up my Mum and Dad to tell them that I had passed,
they both, very pleased to say the least. I think they were more
pleased about it, then me.
In the evening I was working at the dog track, which of course
I got to drive myself there. Everyone was so happy for me when
I told them that I had passed my driving test.
I just hope that today has not just been a long dream and that
I go though it all again! I am just not use to passing things,
first time. I was sure that I was going to fail it. |
| Friday - 23th January 2004 |
I cleaned Mark's car both
the inside and outside. Since I will be driving it a lot, till
I get my own car sorted out. I don't want to be driving a muddy
car. That has not been washed in god knows how long. I am a very,
very clean person, I can't stand mess. So of course the car,
that I drive has to be nice and clean too. I also never know
who I may meet when I am driving! lol.
Then in the evening I was of course working at the dog track.
I got to drive the car there again, for the third night in a
row. I am starting to get use to driving on the A1 and A47 all
the time. Just driving around Peterborough when the roads are
busy is going to take a while to get use to. Which I really need
to, because my home City of Glasgow, makes Peterborough roads
look easy.
Work was not too bad. Other then half the customers were dick
heads to say the least. And should not be aloud out of there
houses. At least the wine list was right and got done at a good
time.
Then after work I got to drive myself back home again. I am
starting to get a lot better at parking outside of my house.
The road I say on, is not the easyish place to park on, to say
the least! Has good number of my friends have found out for themselves. |
| Monday - 26th January 2004 |
I got up at about 10:30am.
Then I had a quick shower, checked my email. Then I got into
the car and drove to Stamford. I parked at the Stamford train
station car park, because it's a nice sized car park. And I would
have no problems finding a car parking space that I could find
into. Since my parking skills are still not great, I did not
really like the idea of parking in the centre of Stamford.
Once I had parking the park I then walked over Stamford Meadows
to the post office to post some stuff for Mark then I want to
the Lloyds
TSB to pay a cheque into Mark's bank account.
Then I walked back over the the car, then I drove to Morrisons to
get myself some food. Lucky I found a nice and easy parking space
to get in and out of.
When I got back home. I went a walk with the dog. Then I cooked
myself some food. Before spending the rest of the evening mainly
just watched TV and playing about on the Internet. I also spoke
to Scott, one of my friends from Glasgow on the phone for about
1 hour. Then I went to bed. |
| Tuesday - 27th January 2004 |
When I first got up in the
morning I was not feeling at all well! I had to keep running
to the toilet. Not going to anything thing else, I think you
can work the rest out! lol. But lucky in the afternoon I started
to feel a lot better.
In the afternoon I drove to Bourne to have have a look around
Matthew's new house. It's the first time that I have seen it,
since he moved into it last weekend. I really liked it. It's
one of the nicest house's that I have been in for a long time.
Once we had eating lunch and watched Neighbours.
I took Matthew out in the car for a drive, it's the first time
that he had been out with me driving since I passed my driving
test a week ago today. I drove him to the new Homebase in
Stamford. Lucky the car park was not too full, so Matthew did
not get to see just how bad my parking really is. We had a good
look around the DIY place.
Then I just drove around all over the place, just because I
could. And also so that Matthew could see what my driving is
really like. Then I droped him back off at this house in Bourne.
Once I got back home. I went out a walk with the dog. Then once
I got back, I got really and drove myself to work. The drive
there was not too bad at all. For the first time in a long time
I was one of the first people there. I got to work about 15 minutes
easly.
Work was very, very boring indeed. People were just not drinking
anything at all. So it was a very long evening to say the least.
The drive back from work was all going till I was just passing
a place called Wittering on the A1, then it started to snow.
I have only been driving for one week, so driving in snow was
one of the last things that I wanted to do! When I got out of
Stamford on the A6121, I could not see a thing. When I got onto
the B1176, just coming out of Ryhall, it got ever wrone, I could
not see 5 metres in front of me. Going up hills, was not nice
at all. The wheels on the car started to speen. I was just so
happy to get back home all in one bit and better still so was
the car too. I don't think Mark would have been too happy if
I had crashed his car. |
| Thursday - 29th January 2004 |
I got up at about 10:00am.
Put coal on the fire, before having a nice, warm shower. Then
I checked my email and played about on the net for a while.
Then at 12:15pm Phil my driving instructor come around so that
I could do the first four hours of my pass plus driving course.
Meaning that I got to do lots of fun motorway driving. I first
drove down the A1(M) from Stamford, till the A14, then went west
along it, then on to the M1 heading North, then on to the A52,
then thought Nottingham then on the the A606 and back though
Stamford and back to Little
Bytham. I really enjoyed it. I don't think that I did to
badly. The only bit that I did not like was the M1 near to Nottingham.
It got, very, very busy indeed. One sec doing 70 Mph and the
next not really moving at all.
After all the driving I was glad to get back home. Driving for
four hours is very trying. Once I had waken up a bit again, I
did some work to the Bytham's
website. I fixed the business directory search engine. Which
I just found out that it was not working.
In the evening Mark and me went to The
Willoughby Arms to get food. When I got home, I played
about on the Internet for a while, then took myself off to
bed. |
| Sunday - 1st February 2004 |
I got up in the morning today.
Which is very good for me on a Sunday. I like to have nice and
long lie in, most Sundays.
I did not really do much at all till about 3:00pm when Mark
and me went into Peterborough to get some stuff from Boots that
we needs to teach a first aid course tomorrow. At first we were
hoping to get the stuff from the Boots in Stamford but it was
not open with it being a Sunday.
Once I got back home I just played about on the Internet as
normal. So nothing new there are normal. While I was on the Internet
I give the Nottingham
Gay Scene website a bit of an update. Then I did a bit of
work to the Wetsuitlads
website I uploaded photos which I much have missed when I
last updated it. Because I found some that were not working.
They are working now, so that's the main thing.
Then I spoke to some people on MSN and ICQ for
a while. While I was speaking to one of my friends on ICQ,
he give me a great idea! And that is to get myself a passport
sorted out. And take myself on holiday somewhere. I think I know
where I may go to! But I am not telling .
You will all have to find out.
Then I watched Casualty that
I had recorded last night. It was great as normal, but it would
have been even better if I had not, cut the start off, of it
while recording it. One day I will learn now to use my VCR. |
| Monday - 2rd February 2004 |
| I was on a First Aid at work
course. At first I did not really want to do it! But now I am really
glad that I have been doing it. It feels good to think after what
I have learnt today, I could help save someone's life. I will be
on the first aid course for the next number of Mondays. |
| Tuesday - 3rd February 2004 |
In
the afternoon, I had fun giving my room a door at long last.
It took me at least 2 hours, to do it. Anyone who has put up
a door before, will know that it's hard work, with two people
doing it. Never mind just one person doing it. It's about 99%
up right. I will need to take it down again at a later date and
fully sort it out. But anything is better then not having a door
up at all!
In the evening I was doing at the dog
track. Since Mark was down in London doing more training.
I had the car all to myself again. So I drove to work a different
way, so that I did not have to drive thought the City centre
of Peterborough, which I am not a great fan doing. It's way
to busy at times of my liking. So I drove down the A1, then
onto the A1139 then off at Boongate, then to the dog
track. See map for the full route.
Then after work I drove back to Little
Bytham. Then helped Mark empty the van. Then he dove the
van back to Grantham and I drove the car. Then he dropped off
the van, at the van hire place, then I drove us both back to Little
Bytham. I am starting to get use to all the night driving
on the A1 etc.
Once I got back home, I checked my email, then it was off to
bed. |
| Thursday - 5th February 2004 |
I did not waken up till about
12:00pm. Yes very bad indeed I know. Once I got out of bed, I
checked my email, fed the dog. Then had a nice shower.
Later in the afternoon I watched Neighbours.
Then I did some work to my Wetsuitlads
website. So that you can now give each model a rating out
of ten. Then I went a drive into Stamford. I went into Stamford
to get my hair cut, but when I got there I changed my mind. So
I just ended up going to Morrisons to
get some things to eat and drink.
Then in the evening I watched Holby
City and Command:
Could You Run the Country? You could tell that it was a BBC program
it was great. Even better I could run the Country, because
I got every decision on it right!
Then Mark, Chris and me went to the Castle Inn, in the next
village to get something to eat. The food was very nice indeed.
The only bad thing about it, is that they give you way to much,
so that I can never eat it all.
Once I got back from the pub Matthew phoned and we had a good
old chat . |
| Sunday - 8th February 2004 |
I woke up at about 12:00pm.
But I did not get out of bed till about 1:00pm. Because I have
got hocked on a CBBC program
called Kerching! It's one every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00pm
to 1:00pm on the CBBC
channel. I just think it's be funny or maybe it's because
I am just a big kid at heart.
Once I got up a had a quick shower. I then bored Mark's car
and drove to the Morrisons in
Stamford to get some food to eat. Mark did not ever know that
I had taken his car, because he was still fast asleep.
Once I had cooked the food that I from Morrisons and
of course eating it. Then Mark and me went a walk with Pebbles
to Jimmy's Stile and back.
Then I added a new model to my Wetsuitlads
website called Sean. I would really recommend that you
check his photos out. He's very cute indeed. I would easily
give him 9/10.
Then in the evening Mark and me went to The
Willoughby Arms to get food. We were going to go to the
Castle Inn, in Castle
Bytham, but for some reason it was not open. |
| Monday - 9th February 2004 |
I got up at about 7:50am.
I went to have a shower and there was no hot water. So I was
just a bit pissed off. I am a very clean person, so I don't like
leaving the house looking like a mess. But lucky since I was
going to work to do the second day of the First Aid at work course,
it was 2 so bad. Because the dog track has a shower. So I took
all my shower stuff to work and had one there.
The second day of the First Aid course, was not 2 bad. Other
then I had to do First Aid on Rob, one of the guys who own's
the place.
After the Aid First course was finished. Mark and me stopped
off at Stamford to get our hair cut. My hair was starting to
look a bit of mess, I had not had it cut since December. |
| Friday - 13th February 2004 |
In the afternoon Mark, Paul,
Matt and we went to The
Willoughby Arms to have launch. The food was very nice indeed.
Once I got back having eating I played about on the Internet
for a while.
Then I went out on my bike for the first time this year. I only
went to Castle
Bytham and back. I did the cycle in 28.08 min's. Which is
OK, but nothing great when I fit, I can do it in 23 min's. I
will just have to make sure that I go out on my bike lots now
and get myself nice and fit again.
Then in the evening I was working at the dog
track. It was not 2 bad of a nite. The only bad thing,
was all the happy str8 people out for a meal together. |
| Sunday - 15th February 2004 |
Today I ordered Darren Hayes
album called "Spin" from Play.com.
I have been meaning to get it since, it come out last year, but
never got around to it. All going well it should turn up in the
post this Wednesday. Since I started to use Play.com in
October last year, I have spend over £110 with them.
In the evening Mark and me went to the Castle Inn, in Castle
Bytham to have a meal. The food was great, as always and
for once I nearly managed to eat it all. They always give me
to make, so I can never eat it all. I am sure that I will manage
it one day. |
| Wednesday - 18th February 2004 |
I did not waken up till about
12:00pm. It's all because I was on-line last night speaking to
his very cute 17 year old guy called Rob from Rugby.
When I did make it out of bed. I was very happy because the
CD that I ordered from Play.com turned
up. I listened to it for a while, while cooking myself some food.
Then while I was eating it I watched Neighbours on BBC1.
Then I went out a cycle on my bike. I did 9 miles, I did it
in 45 minutes, which is not 2 bad. My hand's got very cold indeed.
I really need to get myself some cycling gloves.
Then in the evening I was working at the dog
track. It was not 2 bad of a night, it was just a bit boring,
because people were not drinking that much. So with me being
a wine waiter I did not have much to do. At least we did sell
a lot of wine, well a lot for it being a Wednesday night. We
sold 34 bottles, coming to £381.75.
Then on the way back from work. Mark and me stopped off at Tesco to
get some good. But instead of just getting food. Mark ended up
getting a new TV and VCR all-in-one for teaching Aid First courses.
So instead of spending just £10, it become over £150.
Ahhhhh. Mark was the one getting the TV, not me. So I don't really
mind, it's not my money after all.
Once back home I spoke to Rob again on-line for a while, before
going to bed. |
| Saturday - 21st February 2004 |
I did not waken up till about
1:00pm. When I got out of bed and checked the post I was so happy,
because my Pass Plus certify turned up.
Then I cooked myself some food, put a washing on, then a had
a nice hot shower. Then I took Mark's computer to bits, because
for some reason the network card in it had stopped working. So
I give the computer I clean out and then put it all back together
again. And thank god the network card started to work again.
Then I went out a walk with the dog. While I was out walking
the dog I give Scott a phone, to catch up with him.
On the way back from walking the dog Mark phoned me on my mobile
to say that I would have to make my own way in it work. Because
he could not be back in time from London to give me a lift into
Peterborough.
So at about 5:20pm I cycled from my home in Little
Bytham to Stamford train station, then took my bike on
the 6:03pm Central
Trains service to Peterborough. Once I got into Peterborough
at 6:18pm, which was died on time, which is not like Central
Trains at all. Then I cycled from the train station in
Peterborough to the dog track. In total the cycle was 9.78
miles. The cycling part of the journey took me 43 minutes.
I got into work at 6:30pm. So I was just over half an hour late.
But then I am always one the last members of bar staff to go
home, so it does not really matter, that a was a bit late. Lucky
is was a nice easy night, we had a lot more wine waiters, then
we normally have on a Saturday night.
Then after work Mark, Chris and me went out of a Pizza. Once
I got back work I chatted to Rob for a while on MSN. And we sorted
out about meeting up on Sunday. Then I went to bed. |
| Sunday - 22rd February 2004 |
the
morning I borrowed Mark's car and drove to Morrisons in
Stamford to meet up with Rob. I picked Morrisons because
I could not think of anywhere else what would be open on Sunday
in Stamford and it is also easy to find.
When I got to the Morrisons cafe
at 12:00pm Rob and
Dave, his friend who very nicely give him a lift all the way
from Rugby to Stamford. Were already there waiting for me. So
I would like to say a very, very big thank-you to Dave.
At first Rob and
me were both very shy indeed. And that we could do was look at
each other and smile. Then after a while we started to use our
mobile phones to speak to each other. Writing each other TXT
messages then reading them. BTW he's deaf, so that's why we were
using our mobiles to chat.
Then at about 1:00pm once Dave had his two coffees. Rob and
me went back to my place. And got to know each other better!
Using my laptop to write to each other is a lot faster then text
messages, on mobile phones. Because it takes me a long time to
write them on my phone.
Then not long after Rob and
me got back over walking the dog. I asked him out and he said
YES!! So I am no longer single. Rob may
only be 17, but he does not act his age. I just need to start
to learn Sign Language now. To make it easier for us to speak
to each other.
At 6:30pm I drove him back to Morrisons so
that Dave could give him a lift back home. I did not really want
him to go back home, but he had to because he had school in the
morning. I can't wait to see him again next weekend.
In the evening Mark and me went to the Castle Inn, in Castle
Bytham to have a meal. The food was great. Then once I
got back I spoke to my Rob on
MSN for a while, before going to bed. |
| Monday - 23rd February 2004 |
I passed the First
Aid at Work course today. So I was so happy.
In the evening I phoned up my Mum and Dad to tell them that
I have a new boyfriend.
When I told my Mum that he is only 17, my Mum said: "You
like them young". Which did really make my smile. My mum
also said to me to take it slow, she does not want me to get
hurt again.
I can't wait to take Rob home
to meet my Mum and Dad. I am meeting up with his Mum and Dad
this Saturday. I just hope that it goes well. I will let you
all know how it goes . |
| Saturday - 28th February 2004 |
I got up at about 9:00am.
I had a shower, then got things packed for going to spend the
weekend with my boyfriend
Rob. Mark very nicely give me a lift to the train station
in Stamford. I got the 10:07am Central
Trains service to Birmingham. What is going on with Central
Trains, I have no idea the train was died on-time again.
Once I got into Birmingham New Street train station. I texted
my boyfriend Rob to
find out where about's in was in the station. His train had got
into the train station about 30 minutes before my train did.
Once I find him, which did not take long at all. We then both
headed towards to Bullring
shopping centre. Both holding hands of course. When I am
going out with someone, I will walk more or less everywhere holding
hands. Once we got to the Bullring,
I could not believe just how big the place is. I use to think
the Buchanan
Galleries in Glasgow was big. But the Bullring in
Birmingham, makes it look very small indeed.
Rob and me spend
most of the day in Birmingham just looking around all the shops.
We are both starting to get a lot better at speaking to each
other using our hands. For lunch we went to Pizza
Hut, once we had found one that was not too busy. We had
a large Stuffed Crust Margherita and we both had Pepsi.
Once we had our food, we spend ever more time looking around
the shops. I was so happy we found the O'Neill shop, which of
course, I had to have a quick look around. Rob being Rob made
me go and look at there wetsuits.
Once we had both done looking around Birmingham. We got to train
to Rugby, where Rob stays.
This was the bit, I had not been looking around to all day. Meeting
his family. It went not 2 bad at all. His Dad did not really
say much to me at all. I think that his Mum liked me. So it's
a start. See I am his very first boyfriend, so it's going to
take while for his Mum and Dad to get use to me.
Then Rob and me
spend the rest of the evening kissing and watching TV. Before
going to bed. Which was all very new to Rob,
he had never sleep in bed with a guy before. |
| Tuesday - 2nd March 2004 |
I got up at about 7:00am to
help Mark put things in the van for him going down to London
to teach a moving and handling people course. Once Mark had gone
I went back to bed. I was fully awake, but being up at 7:00am
is why to easily for me. I did not waken up again till about
12:00pm.
Once I got up a had a shower, checked my email. Did some work
to the theBythams
website, to try to talk more people in the local area to
sign up for Broadband Internet. So far 103 people have registered
their interest, so we still need 98 more people. Then my village
will have Broadband at last and I can say good-bye to the very
slow ISDN.
Then I washed Mark's car. I can now see what colour it should
be again. His car will not know what is going on, it's now been
washed twice this year so far. Then I washed my bike, it was
very, very muddy from the last time I went out on it.
Then I spoke to my boyfriend
Rob for a while on MSN. Before getting ready for work.
Work was not 2 bad at all. Just Adam and me were wine waiting.
We sold 16 bottles of wine, which is not bad at all for being
a Tuesday night. Then got done at work died on 11:00pm. So
I got my tips then jumped into the car and drove back home.
I was back at 11:35pm, which next to never happens. Most nights,
I am back by 12:00am, if I am lucky.
Once back, I helped Mark, unload the hire van. Then he drove
the van and I drove the car up to Grantham. Then we dropped the
van off at Hampsons
Vehicle Hire, then I drove us both back to home. When I went
to bed. |
| Wednesday - 3rd March 2004 |
I got up at about 10:30am,
which is very good for me. I had a shower and then I played about
on the Internet for a while and deleted all the SPAM emails that
I got. I get at least 50 of them everyday, they really do my
head in.
Then I went out into the back garden and picked up all the dog
mess. Which is a job that I really hate doing, but someone has
to do it and it's normally me. Then I got the lawn more out and
cut the grass. It more only be the start of March, but it was
getting to get very long and was really in need of getting cut.
Then I had a nice big fire to burn some of the wood in the garden
that we don't need anymore.
Then I got really for at about 4:00pm, because Mark could not
get back in time from London to give me a lift to work. So Sam
very nicely give me a lift in Stamford. Then I got the 5:03pm Central
Trains service to Peterborough. I could not believe it, it's
the third time that I have used them in a number of weeks and
every time so far they have been on-time. Which is not like Central
Trains at all. Once in Peterborough I waked for the train
station to work, which was a good 25 minutes walk. I was the
first person into work, which I don't think as ever happened
to me before.
It was a bit of a boring night at work. Because the bar was
very over staffed. We had double the staff that we had on Tuesday.
But the same number of people eating in the Restaurant as Tuesday
night. I was so glad that Mark and me ended up finishing at 10:00pm.
I would have gone mad, if I had been there any longer.
When I got back home I spoke to my boyfriend
Rob for a while on MSN. Once he had gone off-line. I then
went to bed myself and I watched Holby
City that I had recorded last night, because going to sleep. |
| Thursday - 4th March 2004 |
I got up at about 11:00am.
Checked my email like I do every day of my life. Then I had a
nice hot long shower. Then I drove into Stamford to look around
DIY places, I was looking for a dinner switch, but could I find
the one I am after of course not. Then I went to Morrisons to
get some food.
Once I got back from Stamford I went into the back garden and
starting burning even more wood. The back garden is now looking
the best that it has done in long time.
In the evening I spoke to my boyfriend
Rob on MSN for most of the night. I also phoned my Mum
and Dad to see how things are going up in sunny Scotland. I
was on the phone to them for about 15 minutes which is a very
long time for me. Most times the call lasts for about 5 minutes
max. I was also on the phone to Scott for about 45 minutes.
We were mainly speaking about a website that he is setting
up for the wine shop that he owns.
Then it was off to bed! I was in bed before 12:00am, which was
very good for me. Most nights I am still up at 2:00am. |
| Saturday - 6th March 2004 |
Rob and
me got up at about 10:30am. We both had a shower, of course we
both had one at the same time to save the hot water. Well that
is the reason that I am keeping too, you can all make up your
own minds.
In the afternoon we both went to the local pub, The
Willoughby Arms to get have lunch. The food was very nice
indeed, but for some reason I could not eat it all. As I said
to Rob at the time, maybe it's because I am feeling love sick.
Once we got back from the pub, we went a nice walk with the
dog. It was nice. Well it was very nice still it started to rain. Rob,
Pebbles and me all got very, very wet indeed. But Rob and me
did not mind 2 much, because we were both out walking together.
In the evening I was working at the dogs. So Rob come
with me for the second night in a row. At least tonight he did
not look as bored, as he did Friday night, because this time
he had a book with him to read. I did feel very bad, because
I could not speak to him as much as Friday night, because with
it being a Saturday night, the place was full.
Then after work my Rob,
Mark and some other people from work, and of course me, went
a Pizza place in town to get food, which we do about every second
Saturday night.
Once back home Rob and
me chatted for a while, before going to bed. We were both very
tired indeed, because it had been a long day, but a great one
at that. |
| Sunday - 7th March 2004 |
Rob and
me both woke up at about 10:30am. Both we did get out of bed
still late, because we both stayed in bed to watch Charmed and Casualty,
while we cuddled. I recorded them both last night. They were
both very good indeed. But I was very pissed off with my Freeview box,
because the subtitles did not record well at all. But then it
is a Panasonic one, so no wonder. At least the subtitles worked
with Casualty,
but I they recorded that with the Sky box and the subtitles on
Sky work very well indeed.
Once we got out of bed and both had a shower together again.
We were going green again and saving water again. Then I bored Rob by
showing him photos that I have taken over the years with my digital
camera. But I think he liked looking at them, because like me,
he likes photography.
He is also doing photography as
a subject at school.
Then we went to Rutland water for a while. Just has I was parking
the car it started to rain. ahhhhh. But at least it did not rain
for long at all. So we got out the car and went a walk. I was
hoping to take lots of photos but the battery's in the camera
run out! At least I got some of my Rob,
so that's the main thing.
Once we got back to my place. I cooked us both dinner. Which
was very nice, even if i do say so myself.
Then once had both eating all of our dinner. I drove Rob back
to Rugby. I had not been looking forward to the journey all day
for two reasons. One because I was taken Rob back home after
a great weekend. The other reason, was that I had never done
a long journey like that before all by myself. It was 48 miles
just going one way. At least I had been on some of the roads
before. We did get lost twice, but we soon find the right way
again. The only bit of the whole journey that I did not like
at all was at the end of the A14, were it meets up with the M1
and M6. But lucky I had done it before while doing my Pass Plus
with Phil.
I was very sad indeed when I dropped Rob off
in Rugby. I had to stop myself from crying while driving back
home. Driving while crying is not a good idea. At least I will
get to see him again next weekend, all going to plan.
Once I got back. I let Rob know
that I got home in one piece. Then Mark and me went to the Castle
Inn, in the next village to get food.
Once Mark and me got back from the pub, I spoke to Rob for
a while, before going to bed. It's been a very long and tiring
day. My body is not use, to doing so much driving in one day. |
| Monday - 22rd March 2004 |
Rob and
me have now been going out for one month. So happy anniversary
to my very sexy boyfriend Rob.
Thanks for a great month, the first of many I hope. I just wish
that I could have seen him today. I am sure that we will more
then make up for it, next time we see each other.
I would also like to wish Matthew a happy 23 birthday. |
| Wednesday - 24th March 2004 |
Today I had some fun doing
DIY. Every month I am tiring to do at least one thing in my room
to make it feel more homely. Last month I got a DVD tower. This
month I got myself a TV/VCR wall bracket so that I could put
my TV and VCR on the wall to give myself some more desk space.
It did not, take very long at all to make it up and fix to the
wall. I had great fun drilling the holes for the 2 1/2" screws.
I think I did a very good job of putting it up.
Once I had done doing that I went out a walk with the dog. I
was hoping that we would get back before it started to rain,
but our luck was not in and we both got very, very wet indeed.
But she was taken a walk so that's the main thing.
Then in the evening I was working at the dog track. I did not
get there till about 7:15pm. When I should start at 6:00pm. I
had to wait for Mark to get back from London to drive myself
in. He was very last back before the roads back from London were
very, very busy indeed. Work was OK, other then the tills were
playing up a bit.
Then on the way back from work I called in at Tesco to
get food. I am not the worlds biggest Tesco fan,
but it's better then nothing at all. The best thing about it,
is that it's open 24 hours.
Once back home I played about on the net for a while, before
going to bed. |
| Thursday - 25th March 2004 |
My alarm went off at 9:30am.
But me being, me I did not get out of bed till about 10:15am.
So I had to get ready very, very fast before Matthew got to my
place. I got ready just in time. Just as he knocked on the front
door, I was all sorted and ready for our fun day looking around
Birmingham.
We left my place at about 10:35am. Matthew then drove us both
to Stamford train station, he then parked his car in the station
car park. We were both very lucky indeed, we got the very last
space in the car park. We then both paid for the train tickets
to Birmingham. We did not have to not have to wait long for the
train to turn up. The Central
Trains service to Birmingham
New Street station left Stamford died on-time.
Once we got into Birmingham we headed straight for the Bullring
shopping centre. Even with it being my second time their,
I still can't get over the size of the place. Matthew and me
spend most of time looking around all the shops. We were both
very good indeed. We did not buy much at all. Matthew got himself
a DVD from Borders and
I got myself a birthday card for my Mum.
The only bad thing about the day was when we went to Pizza
Hut. We got our drinks OK. They said our food would be
with us in 15 minutes. 25 minutes later still no food. 30 minutes
still no food. 40 minutes later still no food. So in the end
we give up and said to them we're going. They just said sorry.
At least they did not make us pay for our drinks, or I think
Mathew and me would have been very, very pissed off to say
the least.
Matthew and me just walked down New Street and went to the Pizza
Hit next to the Odeon
Cinemas luck this time we got our food and drink OK. I
know that I will never be going to the other Pizza
Hut again.
We got the 7:29pm Central
Trains service back to Stamford. Which left on-time and
also got us back to Stamford on-time. Mathew then drove me
back to my place and dropped me off.
I was glad to be back home my legs were killing me from all
the walking around that we had both been doing all day. |
| Wednesday - 31st March 2004 |
I got up at about 11:00am.
I checked my email, then I had a nice hot shower. Then since
it was nice morning and I had Mark's car for the day. I started
to get it all really for Rob and
me taking it up to Scotland on Sunday. I give it a full clean
inside and out. It's the cleanest that it has been in a very,
very long time. But I know what the roads are like about here,
it will not be clean by the time I drive up to Scotland in it,
with my boyfriend Rob on
Sunday.
Then I cooked myself some food and had it while watching Neighbours on BBC1.
Then I took Pebbles the dog for a nice walk. I could not believe
just how warm it was today! I just hope that it lasts for when Rob and
me go to Scotland this coming Sunday.
Once I got back from walking the dog. I went a nice cycle to
Tallington. It was so warm, I went out in shorts and t-shirt.
Which is not like me at all in March, most times I will not wear
shorts till middle April. I was very pleased with the time that
I did the cycle in. I did the cycle in 1 hour, 46 minutes. Which
is not bad at all. So far it's the longest cycle that I have
done this year, it was just over 13 miles.
Once I got back I had a quick bite to eat, spoke to my boyfriend
Rob for a while. Then I drove myself to work. I got there on-time,
which is not like me at all. It was not too bad of a night. We
got done just before 11:00pm, which is a very good thing.
Then after work I called in at Tesco to
get food. Then I drove up the A1 from Peterborough to Grantham,
just over 35 miles in total. To pick up Mark, because was dropping
a hire car off at Hampsons
Vehicle Hire place in Grantham and needed a lift back to Little
Bytham.
Then I checked my email and played about on the net for a while,
before going to bed. |
