I have just posted some more photos, from the Rutland Water cycle that I did last week.
I have also re-sized the other photos from this set, to very large 1920 x 1080. These photos have been taken with my Sony HDR-CX570E camera.
Here are my cycling statistics for March. I am pleased with myself. Done the second most miles, I have ever done, in any March. Just missed out on last March’s record by 64 miles
. But I am still up on last years miles by this point. Last year at this point it stood at 1,240.8 miles. Right now I am at 1,310.4. So I am 69.6 miles up!

Here are my favourite cycling photos from the month
This is now the second time so far this year, I have cycled to then around Rutland Water. Last time I did the shorter loop. This time I did the longer loop, which takes in the Hambleton section.
During the cycle I was stopped to record, yet another vlog. Which will be on-line later this evening. I am sure you, will all love it. Since I am wearing my white Garmin kit

All is good right now in the land of cycling. I have done 112.89 miles in just two days. I know of course during the summer. I could do a lot more than that in 2 days. I am still pleased with it. It’s really helped get my monthly total up. It now stands at 394 miles. Making it the second most miles, I have done in a single month this year.
I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph and route statistics.

I am well pleased with myself. Just set a set record for the longest cycle, I have ever done in any March. I set the longest one last March (2011), at 60.1 miles. Today I did 65.4 miles! I would have loved to have done a longer one. But I had to get back home to look after next doors dogs.

Happy days, that’s me got my bike after it went to Terry Wright Cycles last Thursday (8th March 2012) for a much needed service. It’s so nice having fully working front and back breaks again. I just need to watch, since for the last 3 months or so, only the front one was doing anything at all. If I used them now, I would be straight over the handlebars which would not be a good thing. They also renewed the gears, which had been jumping like mad. The service came to total of £111.98.
I will now leave you with statistics from today’s short bike ride.

At long last my bike has gone to Terry Wright Cycles for a much needed service. Turns out he’s not had a service since Monday – 20th December 2010. Just really hope it’s does not cost anywhere near as much, as last time. when it set me back £277.69. I am hoping more around to £100 to £150 this time. It will be great to have fully working breaks and gears again. It had gotten to the stage where my back break did not work at all. And my front break was getting ready to also give up
.
Oh and in other news, at long last I have sent off my passport application form. Since I am going to my big brothers wedding in Cyprus during September.
This month is off to a flying start. Just done my first 50+ mile cycle of the year, which also happens to make it the longest one to.
The section of the route that is marked in blue, is roads I have never cycled on before.
I will now leave you with the route map, elevation graph and route statistics.
